The necessary repairs turned out to be much more extensive than initially realized (there was a problem with the electricity which is what blew the pipes). The tech honored his quote, although the repairs were likely worth at least a few (if not several) hundreds of dollars more. I really appreciated that he kept his word. "Triple Play installed an HVAC system in my house about a year ago. They did bad work so I put negative reviews about them online. About a year later, my A/C quit working. So I called Triple Play. Triple Play said I defamed them with my negative reviews so they will never provide me with any service. So I called Patriot Heating and Air. The Patriot man came and looked at my system. First, he said they installed a 3-ton unit but my 1,000 sq. ft. house only needs a 2 or 2.5-ton. Triple Play installed a 2-stage system but a single stage thermostat. I had to pay to get a new thermostat. The Patriot man said whoever installed the system did a very bad job - they wired everything wrong. So I had to pay to have it all rewired. There were more problems but I won't go into them now. I took out a $16,000 loan for Triple Play's HVAC to be installed. The Patriot guy said he would have charged $8,000 (labor included). I do not suggest that anyone use Triple Play. They cheated me and damaged my house and left it that way."

"Our old A/C unit went out on one of the hottest days of the year. We had trouble with old unit that came with the house (15+ years old). Went out on a Friday evening. We thought we were going to have to sweat it out all weekend in 100+ degree temps. Called several HVAC companies and left messages on their answering machines. Eddie called me back first thing Saturday morning and said he could be there at 10:00am. He apologized for not returning my call the same evening, but they had been very busy. Understand, I had never used this company before. He got the system running very quickly, but discovered there were more issues. I was skeptical initially, but he showed me the issues in detail and went over the costs of each option. I decided to purchase a new unit. He had his crew out with new equipment and the new system installed and running that afternoon. Has been great to work with on regular maintenance. Great company!"

If you hire this company, please make sure you can go to top of the roof and inspect their work once it is done. Initially, they send couple great employees to inspect the chimney and give an estimate which makes one think that he or she is hiring a great company. However, the work they do can be better by ten years old. This company provides bad quality of work and poor workmanship and they make a lot of excuses and false statements. Again, please make sure you can inspect their work if you hire this company. I would not give them a single penny until they finish the work and it is inspected by the home owner. I found many mistakes and damages to my existing shingles. Be very careful."
