Saved me thousands less than other quotes

I don't really know if it's appropriate to name the other companies here, but this is what happened. Our single outdoor AC unit quit working. The first company I contacted quoted a minimum of almost $12,000. The 2nd company quoted a minimum of $4000. Mekkos fixed it for $925. End of story.

Replaced an old A/C unit and furnace. Very professional and courteous. Took the time to explain what he was going to do and provided an estimate. We set a time he showed up on time and promptly went to work. He and his workers were polite while they were here. After the units were installed they left the work areas cleaner than they were when they arrived. Highly recommended.

Mekkos and Johnny were great. They went from ending the summer season of 2020 to beginning the summer season in 2021. He discovered a freon leak at the end of the season. Very light charge to me and estimate to replace very old system. Advised to invest in new system as the cost of repairing pikes that carry freon would be high and not stable. Was contacted again at beginning of season for replacement. Did replacement in one day at beginning of 99+ degree weather. Very conscientous about trash removal. I no longer hear the clunk of AC coming on and off. Just a sweet cool hum. Thanks Johnny and Mekkos!

During the 2021 polar vortex they were the only ones of 57 companies who were able to send someone out. The tech (Johnny) knew what the problem was and tried to remedy it as quickly as possible. He said someone would be back when warmer temps came back to help put prevention measures in place so the high efficiency furnace doesn't have the condensation pipe freeze again.
