"One of the best experiences I have ever had with a contractor.
Over time, the shingles on my roof had suffered damage through age, hail damage and wind damage. I solicited estimates from six contractors. Air Roofing's price was right in the mix with their estimate. What made the difference was the level of professionalism and assistance provided by David Rodriguez. David was very thorough in detailing and identifying areas where damage had occurred and spent ample time in explaining the services they provided and how they would approach the repairs. His estimate was very detailed so that there would be no surprises in the cost after the work was started. After I had contacted my insurance company, David was willing to come out and meet with the adjuster to discuss what he had found. David was very helpful every step of the way. I felt that he was willing to do whatever it took to insure that the job was done right and to my satisfaction.

On the day of the repair, his crew arrived early and wasted no time getting to work. They were able to remove the old shingles and install the new roof in one day including repairing damaged decking, replacing damaged woodwork around the chimney, adding a ridge vent, drip edge, soffit vents, and ice and water shield. They stayed late in order to finish everything in one day. I was impressed with the attention to detail and speed at which they worked. They did a good job in clean up, removing all trash and old shingles and picking up all nails.
All in all, I was very impressed and highly recommend David and his crew.

"I appreciated the professionalism the plumber had. He explained what was going, how he was going to clear out the sewer. He worked fast & efficiently. His prices were a little lower than other companies I called. He did same day service. King Plumber has a client for ever."

"Joe from JMS Drain Services was my service technician who arrived well within the window scheduled service time. Joe came in, inspected the sink to determine how to resolve my issue, took out the tool (snake apparatus) to clear the sink, and departed my premises within 15 minutes. I was pleased he resolved my clogged sink so quickly so I could rest after a night's work. Thank you again, Joe."

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Clogs in a sprinkler valve can be caused by various factors, including debris in the water supply, sediment buildup inside the valve, or damage to the diaphragm. Debris and sediment can accumulate over time, obstructing the valve's passages and impeding water flow. Damaged diaphragms may develop tears or holes, leading to blockages and affecting the valve's ability to open or close properly. Regular maintenance and cleaning can help prevent and address these issues, ensuring your sprinkler valve operates smoothly.

A small amount of diluted bleach is okay to pour down a garbage disposal. As part of your weekly garbage disposal maintenance, use 1 teaspoon of bleach with your concoction of ice cubes and lemon peels. Turn on the disposal and run the water until the blades chop up the ice cubes.

Any more bleach in your disposal can harden oils and greases in your drain, which can cause problems. Always wear gloves when working with bleach, and know that you really don’t need bleach at all—vinegar, baking soda, salt, and ice should do the trick.

Flushing the toilet only to realize it’s clogged can cause anxiety. To avoid a clogged toilet, use less toilet paper. If you notice that the toilet is flushing and refilling slower than usual, you can use a plunger to clear clogs in the S-trap. If that doesn’t work, call a plumber to check your system and possibly clear the drain lines.

As a preventative measure, hydro jetting should be done every one to two years. However, the best practice is to hydro jet your sewer line once per year. The ideal frequency depends on several factors, including the age and condition of your pipes, how prone they are to clogging, how often the sewer line is used, and the type of waste disposed of in the system. If you frequently experience clogs or are unsure, it's best to ask a licensed plumber for a recommendation specific to your plumbing system.

Air gaps get clogged by a few different means. Over time, food and grime can collect in the air gap, leading to a blockage. Mineral deposits from hard water are a common problem. Mineral buildup creates a film in the air gap and tubing, which can cause flow issues, as well as attract debris. Homeowners with hard water may want to remove mineral deposits regularly to keep the air gap clean and clear.
