"I contracted with Oklahoma Roofing and Construction to install vinyl siding on my home in the places where traditional Masonite had been installed when it was first constructed. I obtained several quotes from other contractors but was impressed with Cash's communication, the product being installed, and well as their quote being at the lower end of the ones I received. Ronnie Roy and his crew arrived and I was quite pleased as the work progressed on my home. This was definitely not a slap it up and get it done project. They took their time and did the job right - no cutting corners and it was evident they cared about the quality of their work. They were courteous from day one and their cleanup after the job was complete - no need for me to go out and pick up any debris. We absolutely love the look of the new siding. I highly recommend their work."

"They arrived on time -- something I really appreciate.  They inspected my attic area looking at the insulation, checking for any damage or areas with leaks, etc.  They did a thermal scan as well as take almost 2 dozen pictures.  They took time to find out just what I wanted in terms of attic installation.  They discussed some of the problem areas they found and gave me different options to fix the problems.  They were very low pressure and did not try to "sell" me on buying the most expensive repairs.  I really liked that because too often I've dealt with potential contractors who want to rush me into making a decision or try to sell me something that is more than what I need.  Instead, they wanted me to review their written proposal before I made a decision.  They sent me their proposal which including a number of options later the same day.  They also sent me copies of all the photos they had taken during my attic inspection which I found very helpful in making my decision.  The price was good and their proposed work was in line with what I felt needed to be done.  Again, they didn't try to "sell" me work that really didn't needed to be done something I really appreciate.  I liked their proposal and their professional attitude so I chose to hire them to install more installation and repair some problem areas.

"Exceptional! 2 person team at install. All windows were perfect fit. Took 1-1/2 days for total install with complete removal of old windows from premises, interior of home was left completely clean and new windows completely caulked and cleaned. Original meeting with M. Rhodes Company consisted of owner, Robert (Bob) Rhodes and associate, Tara. Measurements and final cost were done expeditiously and thoroughly at time of original meeting. All aspects of quality of windows, energy savings, ordering and anticipated installation date were covered at time of original meeting. M. Rhodes Company went above and beyond all of our expectations. The windows have added so much aesthetics to our home. It looks beautiful! Windows were installed just days before the Artic Storm in January 2026 and very notable efficiency improvement was experienced in a matter of hours/days. Highly recommend M. Rhodes and Company for all their services."

"I took bids on painting my house in the fall of 2011. I needed to have brick mold applied to the entire circumference of the 1700 square foot house, as it was built without it, as well as all of the fascia, soffit and trim painted. As I needed to replace the roof, and thought I should be doing that first, I was waiting until the roof was replaced to actually contract for the painting. The roofing contractor flaked out, and I had to get a new one in the spring of 2012, after it was warm enough for the shingles to seal. Once I had the roofing contract nailed down, I called the painting contractor I had selected in my mind last fall, Carl Reese. I needed to get the roof done and new gutters up before May 10, 2012, in order to complete work under the insurance for a hail storm two years ago and get the depreciation on the gutter work. Mr. Reese came out to review the job again, and had to increase the price from $1,800 to $2,000 to cover increases in wood prices and paint prices, replacing the current brick mold on the garage door with vinyl (or PVC, I'm not certain which - but it is supposed to not rot!) brick mold with weatherstripping attached, and removing the gutters, which I had thought the roofer would remove.

When Mr. Reese learned that I had not yet had the roof replaced, he suggested that it would be better to paint before re-roofing, as he would have to do less work to ensure that no paint wound up on the new roof. I wanted to make sure that the roofer thought the same thing, so I called the roofer after Mr. Reese left, and he agreed with Mr. Reese (perhaps because his family has multiple generations of both roofers and painters in it!). I called Mr. Reese back that same night, and he agreed to start the next day, Thursday, April 19, 2012, probably putting another job off a little in order to get mine done in time to meet my deadline for the insurance reimbursement. He warned me it might set the roofer back by a week and a half. He power washed the house the next day, and he and his brother came out on Saturday, April 21 to work on the brick mold. I am working 12 hour days on a new job, and came home late on Monday, April 23 to find that he had masked off the brick on the sides and back of the house (but not the front, so the front didn't look strange). On Tuesday, April 24, he called me about 7:20 p.m. at work to tell me that the job was done, and ask that I come home to look the job over with him. I did so, and found a great job! He did a good job with the brick mold, working around some funky brick work at the top of the house all the way around the house, and some projecting brick work around the windows, and installing the no-rot brick mold with weatherstripping on the garage door. The paint job was excellent, also. The existing 1x2 just under the roof was rough cedar, per Mr. Reese, and didn't look as good as a smoother wood would have. However, he did as good a job as could be done given the type of wood he had to work with; you just have to be aware that the painter can't make rough wood, with lots of lines and holes, look as good as smooth wood. In any case, in my case, this wood has now been partly covered by the new drip edge, and will also be covered by gutters.

When I mentioned that I needed to have the front door and the door to the garage replaced in the future, Mr. Reese mentioned that he also replaces doors. I will get in touch with him when I get ready to replace the doors.

I would definitely use Mr. Reese again to paint anything that needed painting!"

"We responded to a special offer. When the installer came to measure, he provided an estimate of additional work requested. The installer returned at the agreed time and completed the installation in record time. Work was done well and installer was very professional. Someone from the company called and came the next day to check on the work and make sure we were satisfied which we were.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

Eifs Installers questions, answered by experts

Depending on size, material, and labor, two windows can cost between $600 and $1,600.

Expect excavation below grade, creating a well for access, weatherproofing, and thorough inspections during setup.

Most modern egress windows installed in basements open outward into a window well, although some older homes have in-swing windows. Egress windows, like casement windows used in other parts of the home, such as bedrooms and bathrooms, may open inward, and these windows are often larger than outward-opening windows.

Installing a window well costs anywhere from $500 to $1,500 or more. Adding an egress window and well runs about $3,900 on average. Adding a window well cover to the project can add $200 to $700. A well cover helps protect your egress windows from weather damage and keeps them clear of dirt, debris, and wildlife.

Egress windows are typically required for basements with habitable space or living quarters. Not all basements or lower levels require egress windows. However, egress windows are required in homes with living spaces such as bedrooms and living rooms in a basement. The International Residential Code and International Building Code require sleeping rooms to have a specific size egress window. Check your local building codes to confirm the requirements in your area.
