They did an inspection and thermal imaging and provided an estimate. On the main return box, they replaced the old grate and insulated the interior. Throughout the attic, they laid down a radiant/thermal/vapor layer, did some partial soffit blocking and ventilation, did a partial attic seal, add added 64 bags of borate-stabilized cellulose attic insulation to bring it to an R-38 value. They also had to replace a duct (that had developed holes or tears) that ran to the master bedroom. The upgrade should make me eligible for a $500 OGE Rebate.

The project went well. The ladder install made a big mess but all was cleaned up. Decking install was good but area had to be reduced due to obstacles but still turned out to be plenty. Insulation was blown in and that also went well. I had some low gable vents that leaked the insulation that was blown up to them. I don’t think this could have been avoided, but that leakage blew back inside the back door and made a mess in the laundry room and kitchen. They offered to come back and clean this up but I went ahead and did the cleanup myself so it didn’t get tracked throughout the house. All things considered, I am very pleased with the job they did.

After living in our house 25 years, last winter we finally had more insulation added to our attic, and had the air ducts sealed/wrapped. We should have had this done years ago. The house felt warmer immediately. We also asked how our front door could be weatherized. There was a half inch gap between the top of the door and the door frame that we could see daylight through. Turns out that the door was hanging a little crooked because the hinges had sprung a little. The hinges were replaced, and then the door hung centered in the frame, but then there was a slight gap around all three sides of the door (not the bottom). A three sided insulated "frame" about 1/2 inch thick was attached to the door frame, on the outdoor side. Now the door closes right up against it, and there are no more gaps or drafts. Everyone I met from Weatherization Experts was very professional, and they showed up at the agreed upon times. They were done in five or six hour. I don't have any complaints at all. I don't know if I got a good price or not. I've never had this kind of work done before. I bought a "deal" on Angie's List for 1000 square feet coverage, six inches deep, and then I paid more to add additional inches of insulation to the deal I'd already paid for, for insulating 350 additional square feet, for wrapping/sealing the ducts, and for the work on the front door. I paid about $2500 total, then I got a $500 rebate from OG&E. Net cost = $2000. I'm confident we'll save money on our utility bills, and earn that money back.

They did a fine job. They showed me where I had just been completely taken to the cleaners by this company out of Oklahoma City that charged me $5000 that did not do anything as far as winterizing my attic and all of that. They gave me an estimate for $2000 for them to do it and come back and do it right. I haven't followed up on that. It sure would help with my utility bill. It was really helpful. They took some video and then they even downloaded it to a thumb drive so I could have something if I needed it if I had to go to court. They showed me with an inferred camera all the hot spots still in my ceiling. I mean this is after the $5000 with this other company. There has been no break in my electric bill over the summer. It was very helpful to what I had already expected. The price was very reasonable. The owner himself came out with his tech because he heard that I had been swindled by another company out of Oklahoma City and he wanted to come out and double check and that was the case. It was good that the owner himself came out to do this inspection.

Fantastic. From the get go, Jessie represented his business well and was professional. He gave me an honest assessment and effective solutions. Two days later he and his workers Miguel and George showed up on time, fixed all the problems left by the previous owner and did a fantastic job! They fixed part of the duct work and put in new cellulose blown in insulation. It looked great and I already notice a difference in the heating/cooling of my home. Excellent workmanship at a quality price. Would absolutely hire again!

WOW..!  Excellent..  Five Stars *****..       I wanted to start off  with a few adjectives to explain  our experience with Weatherization Experts  ...  So if you want the BEST..Best to  listen up...  This is a family owned business.  Todd was great. He is the owner and a 20+ year retired Fire Fighter.  His sons, Jesse and Jacob play major roles in their business and worked on site along with Jorge and  Miguel.  All great people.NEXT... Are you looking for a company  that explains..and  shows you through personalized photos and heat loss detection of your property.. Explains..What you need ..Where you need it and Why.. to save on energy cost  for your home with attic insulation .??.  You will get an education on the best choice and why for your attic.GOOD...  I talked to and got on site estimates from (4) installation companies. (1.) A Door To Door Soliciator  (2.)  Big Box Store  (3.)Local Contractor and (4.) Weatherization Experts.ONLY...  Weatherization Experts  presented us with a Professional and Visual assestment of our needs. Todd and Jesse showed up on time for our appointment. Inspected  and  took photos of our existing attic. THEN.. showed us the problems and explained the solutions. They showed us examples of previous completed jobs  with customer's statements.  There was no high pressure to close the sale.  Todd and Jesse took our information and designed a program  to best fit our needs.  On our follow-up meeting we agreed to those terms that were best with what we wanted to achieve. INSTALLATION DAY.. On time. Six people showed up.  Todd the owner, Jesse, Jacob, Miguel, Jorge and a company representative from the Insulation Manufacture who on occasion show up on site.   They came prepared with a Tractor Trailer with built in equipment to do the job.... At first, I thought it was moving day!!.   I bet you have seen some installers show up with a van or pick-up truck stuffed with  insulation and a portable blower...BUT not these guys. No..No.. They were here all day from 7:30AM to 6:00PM. They left our property and work area clean.  In fact, our garage was cleaner than when they started.CONCLUSION.. If I had it all to do over again it would still be Weatherization Experts.. You can call them all...BUT call Todd, Jesse or Jacob before you waste time and the best for you money.. CALL them all..BUT pick the best.. Weatherization Experts.  YOU will be Happy you did.  OH..My Gosh.!!.   During this recent cold storm here mid December our inside temperture has remained warm. Mostly at 70 to 68 degrees without our heaters  kickin' in...... Are You Kidding Me....Whipee.!!

The service was fine. They were professional. The appointment was very quick. I found them very thorough. Ultimately, they did not see any problems with what I currently have. So, I would say that they were very honest with their evaluation.

I would highly recommend Weatherization Experts, Inc. They were very quick to respond, coming out the next day to give me an estimate and the work was done just a few days later. Miles spent considerable time up in our attic and took pictures so that he could show me where the problems were. Our biggest issue was a draft that went down 2 floors into our kitchen cabinets, via the wall space and through the furr-downs. He explained that they would seal the area above those walls which would prevent the cold air from sinking down. The photos also showed where we had leaks in the H&A ductwork and plenum, as well as the return air fixtures. They also covered and/or better insulated all of the canned lights and wrapped hot water pipes. They then topped it off adding a Borate/Cellulose (non-fiberglass) on top of our existing insulation. After completion, I was sent before & after pictures to see and verify all that had been done. Our net cost is just under $1500 after an OG&E rebate.

They did what was promised. It looks like a good, quality job. They seem very knowledgeable. I appreciate the advice they gave me; it all seemed legit, and they did not push me to the most expensive option. They are set up to do the work; they did it well.

The people at Weatherization Experts were outstanding. Miles came in and accessed my attic and took pictures and explained what was done wrong by my original builders that put in my A/C duct and what they would do to fix it and how they would install the insulation. I was unable to have the work done during the week, so they made other arrangements to get the job done. Their crew was very professional and took pictures of all the work that had been done because it would all be covered up. If I had another house I would definitely have them insulate it.
