"Shane and Wasey were great to work with. I have needed driveway improvements to my house for over a decade. I also had some drainage issues that needed to be addressed. Shane and Wasey really listened to what I thought I needed and wanted and worked with me to make it happen. Prior to calling Stryker, I had received 2 quotes and accepted one to start work on 6/7/2021. I was ghosted by that contractor. I reached out to Stryker, they came and looked at my job the same day and had me a quote by the next morning (6/23/2021). I asked for some additional wording on the quote, which Wasey added without issue. They came the day we agreed upon (7/8/2021) and completed the work just like they said they would!!! I am very happy with the driveway. I will hire them again if needed and will recommend to anyone looking for this type of work. Thanks guys!!!!"

"Mullins Asphalt serviced my driveway by filling in the cracks with hot rubber and then applying a seal coat, leaving the asphalt with a nice refreshed look. They were very professional and everything was done to my expectations, I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a company that is honest and does great work."

"I was planning on sealing my driveway myself. I did my homework and realized it was beyond my abilities (I have a long driveway). Henry from RNH assessed my needs and made an offer that was very attractive. They started the project late on Saturday afternoon. The crew worked until it was too dark to see. They were almost finished so I approved their return on Monday. It was around noon Roger and Jay returned to do the detail work. They educated me on possible future issues and completed their work. Cobblestone driveways can take a major hit on anyone's bank account, begging the question of whether it's worth it to build a cobblestone driveway. Some homeowners might prefer more affordable driveway materials like concrete or pavers, which can give a similar appearance to cobblestone without the high price tag.

Paving your driveway costs between $2,500 and $6,600, to put that in perspective. But for others, there’s nothing quite like the timeless look of cobblestone driveways.

Generally speaking, tiles are for indoor use, while pavers are for outdoor use. The main difference between travertine tiles and pavers is their thickness. Tiles are around 1/2 inch thick, and pavers are 1 1/4 inches to 2 inches thick.

Pavers are more rugged and can handle different weather. The extra thickness on pavers also makes them ideal for high-traffic areas.

If your driveway is cracked, you can repave it with a process called asphalt overlay. Overlay is more cost-effective than a full replacement but is better suited for minor cracks and issues. If you have major cracks or other problems like water pooling, asphalt overlay isn’t your best bet. Plus, paving over a cracked driveway only extends the lifetime by about 10 years, whereas replacing it would start the clock over completely to give you up to 30 years.

An asphalt driveway should be at least 3 inches thick over a compacted gravel base. Areas with poor drainage should have a thicker stone base. To install a new asphalt driveway over an existing driveway, the new asphalt should be at least 2 inches thick and the existing driveway should be in relatively good condition.
