"We needed a complete overhaul to our landscape in the front yard and we can't be more pleased! We met with Mike and he was extremely knowledgeable about what plants, shrubs, and trees would perform well in this climate and in our yard. In addition, he was able to add lighting that looks great. Communication was awesome. We did want a few specific things, but then Mike took it from there and designed wonderful areas of our yard space. After removing existing moss, consider using paver blocking sand to fill the joints. This specialty material hardens once placed and serves as an effective barrier against moss and weeds. From there on, regularly clean your pavers and try to keep them dry. You can also seal your paver as a semi-permanent solution — just make sure you reseal every 3 to 5 years.

Decomposed granite and caliche can both harden into a solid surface using a plate compactor. However, due to decomposed granite’s fine particles, it’s not suitable for driveway surfaces.
