"This project was riddled with mold and moisture issues behind walls, visible mold, and peeling paint causing high moisture. This house was raised so the hot air rose in the summer and reversed in the winter. The hot solar gain from the sun was penetrating the roof creating 140 degrees plus at the ridge vents and 120+ in the attic mixing with the cold air rising into the attic. Creating sweating ducts and mold. First, we eradicated all the mold using containment plastic curtains. Then we used negative air pressure and cleaned the air in the house every day for weeks while scrubbing the ceilings, walls, and floors. Once completely certified that the mold was gone, we air-sealed the house and installed 2- 130 pint-a-day dehumidification systems plumbing them in a certain way. We also spray-foamed the entire attic by code 8" open cell and sprayed the subfloor/crawl space with only 2LB closed cell foam. This way, we can control the moisture/humidity after eradicating the the mold. The key is proper negativ/positive pressure and air movement and ventilation. If you don't understand building, sciense you should stay out of this business. To all our readers take your time and do your due dilligence for at least 1-2 weeks before choosing a contractor, Your house is at stake."

This took decades to happen but when your crawl space wooden members moisture is 25" 28" 34"38" big problems are already happening, like rotted beams, rotted floor joists, Replacing 6 x 6 x 16 sills.
