"There's no better expert in insulation than someone who has lived in Alaska and did it up there where it's -40. I know it doesn't get that cold here in NWA but if he can insulate homes up there?! Yeah, just talk to Charles for half a second and you'll see he knows more about your insulation needs than anyone else. He sprays perfectly even so there isn't waves, it's all even so the temp stays perfect. He's got all the pictures to show you. If you want some amature insulation don't go here, if you want the absolute best? This is it."

"Community Builders  was 1 of 5 companies I "interviewed" to do my siding.  Rodney Smth (Salesman) arrived at my house, we walked around my property, took the measurements, and proceeded to talk about his product.  Rodney was not a high pressure salesman (that’s a good thing) and he was proficient at demonstrating his product.  I explained what I wanted installed on my house and also made it a point to mention certain things (additional insulation backing, a solid core vinyl siding, door facings), to ensure my comparisons of all 5 companies was “fair”.  His quote included the siding, and guttering, and all that we talked about.  However, his
quote was WAY out of my price range!!!
When he initially showed me his quote, it was in the $25K range.  This quote was for 3 gables, and facia, eaves, and guttering!  Yes, the product he had was a SUPERIOR product, but it was WAY out of my price range!  He did back that price down by removing some of my requirements, but at that point, I wasn’t getting what I wanted and I wasn’t settling!
I chose to go with someone else....more at a reasonable price.

Drywall Insulation questions, answered by experts

Whether you need a drywall anchor depends on the specifics of your project, particularly what you're hanging and where. You do not need a drywall anchor if you can screw or nail the object directly into a wooden stud, as the wood provides sufficient support and stability. However, if there are no studs in the location where you plan to hang the item, you should use drywall anchors to ensure it is securely supported. For very lightweight objects, like small pictures, adhesive picture hanging strips can be a suitable alternative to anchors.

Yes, you can speed up the time it takes for plaster to dry, but it's important to do so carefully to avoid issues like cracking or crumbling. Proper ventilation is key; open a window or use a fan to circulate air in the room. Heat can also accelerate drying, but be cautious, as too much heat can cause the plaster to dry too quickly and crack. Check the plaster's packaging for the recommended drying temperature and set the room's thermostat accordingly. While managing humidity is important, avoid using a dehumidifier, which can remove moisture too aggressively and result in crumbly plaster.

You can put drywall mud over paint to even out the surface or entirely resurface it. Sand the surface with 280-grit sandpaper, vacuum the debris and dust with a shop vac, and clean it with a slightly damp cloth. Allow the surface to dry. Apply drywall primer, especially if you’re skim-coating an entire wall. Apply the right type of drywall mud over the surface and smooth it with a trowel. Allow the layer to cure fully, then sand it before applying another layer or painting it.

While it’s most common to sand plaster dry, it is possible to wet-sand plaster, too. Doing so can reduce the amount of plaster dust released into the air and make it easier to work in smaller, more delicate areas (such as around wall trim). However, some people find that wet sanding leads to more imperfections, which is why larger walls are more often dry sanded to ensure an even finish.

The best tool for cutting a hole in drywall is a drywall saw. Its serrated blade and ergonomic design make it efficient for both straight cuts and more intricate shapes, ensuring clean and precise results in various drywall cutting applications.
