"I contacted this company on May 12, 2020 to come out and provide an estimate for a bathroom remodel, and paint for the living room, dining room, hallway, mudroom and kitchen. He provided an estimate in a somewhat timely matter on May 26, 2020. The estimate was for $3600 plus any additional out of pocket expense that he may incur. He estimated the project would take approximately 7-10 days to complete. I admit I can be quite indecisive and explained that to Sean (the owner) during our first meeting. Therefore, I told him that I would reach back out when I was ready to move forward. I recontacted Sean on July 28, 2020. He requested pictures to refresh his memory and also schedule to come back out which he did on August 13, 2020. He provided a new estimate because I decided to not have everything done that was quoted in the prior estimate. Sean also stated he did not realize how much of the shower area I wanted tiled so he amended the estimate to $4000.00. No problem. We scheduled the project to begin August 31, 2020 and I cashed app the deposit which was $2000.00 on August 23,2020. Since I was responsible for purchasing the paint and other supplies I was in frequent communication via both telephone and text up until August 29,2020. Even asking which tile would be easier for him to install which paint brand he preferred etc. On August 30, 2020 I was contacted via text stating he had to push it back to Tuesday or Wednesday. Sean followed up with a phone call stating that his project is running a little over he would try to be out Tuesday but definitely Wednesday. No problem. On Tuesday September 1, 2020 I received a text confirming that he would be out the following morning at 11:00 am. I received a call at 11:02 am on Wednesday September 2, 2020 at which time Sean informed me that he could NOT do my project because so much had change with his schedule since we last met He went on to explain that he would return my deposit later that day. He returned $1350.00 followed by a text that he would send the reminder after he completed the job he was working. This was on the 2nd. He also stated that he would call to discuss the job. I did not hear from him or receive the refund of $650.00. Contact him on the 3rd, stated that he would contact me shortly. Never did. Contacted him the 4th and asked that he return my deposit by end of day or tell me when it would be refunded. Sent text stating he did not have the funds on cash app, he was still working on it. Left another message stating he would call to discuss everything been super busy. No refund or communication until September 7th stating funds will be return by the 8th at the latest and still wants to discuss the project. Funds were refunded later on the 7th. Yay!!!! Left message stating he would call me the next morning. Guess what hasn't happened. NO CALL. I am super glad that I did not have to take legal action because who has the time, right? What I do not appreciate is the deceit and lack of consideration for your customers. I have a house full off materials that I spent over $2000.00 on. Yes, I need them to complete the work I would like to have done. No. I would not have purchased them to just lay around or if I did not schedule the work to be done with a contractor. VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL."
