"The only downside was they had to jackhammer a concrete step which broke some concrete blocks in a retaining wall. However, I was told in advance that it would happen & that they did not do that repair. The work they did to my house fixed the dropped corner of the house , placed level markers & sealed the large crack so it is barely noticeable. They worked quickly & efficiently & pleasantly. I hope I dont need them again but if I do I would definitely call them."

Me and my wife had recently purchased our home. Shortly after we discovered there was water damage in the basement we didn't know how serious it was until Brian (One of the owners of Basement Armor) came out to inspect. He found the home had concrete steps, which were covered by a wooden deck, and the steps began to sink and created a void to which water was filling our crawl space and eventually making its way into our basement.  (Previous contractors didn't even mention the steps)

The first good thing about Brian and Basement Armor is the price was very affordable for the amount of work he did! We had two other companies come out and the prices they quoted us was unbelievable and their work did not include the French drain in the basement. Brian offered me references and I was able to contact them and even view the work he performed. Everyone I spoke to had nothing but nice things to say and viewing the work he performed had me sold.

The next thing that really stood out was Brian, the owner, was actually in my basement performing the work WITH his guys! This I have never seen. This made me feel at ease about the work being performed, he was approachable and kept me and my wife in the loop about everything going on. Brian made sure the work being performed was to his satisfaction. He even took care of a few things that was not in the contract.

There are so many good things I can say about the work performed by Basement armor. Its the little things that count and Brian takes pride in those little things. While disconnecting my washer and dryer he noticed we had a leak from the kitchen down into the basement. He took care of it for us without charging extra! Other companies would have not even acknowledged there was a leak, let alone fix it with no additional charge. I hope I am making it clear Brian did an outstanding job for us! We are on his list of references and we highly recommend Basement Armor!

"Cincinnati Concrete Solutions poured a 17 x 24 patio with a 10 x 11 extension and 2 stoops for us. The patio has a 12 inch stamped and stained border and the concrete was colored. The patio turned out great! Scott's crew was very professional, on time, and cleaned up the street before leaving. Scott and Brandon were very responsive throughout the process. We had one small issue that they will be taking care of after the holidays. We also had them remove a 16 x 30 deck, 12 x 12 patio, and stoop for us prior to starting on the patio. "It was a small job. They sealed the vents to the crawlspace, then, since there was already solid insulation panels on the walls, put a vapor/moisture barrier, in the form of a tarp, 4 feet wide and as long needed, completely around the crawlspace. It was then sealed to the walls with "nails" and adhesive. This seals the wood frame of the house from the 'Outside", the ground, which is the floor of the crawlspace. A 20 mil thick, quite heavy, "floor" was installed, also in the form of a tarp, It went up the walls about 3 feet and was taped to the 'tarp" on the walls, using a tape made for this application. The piers were wrapped with the same stuff and taped to seal the inside from the outside. the "floor" is also a vapor/moisture barrier, but, heavy enough to walk on if needed. This basically makes the crawlspace another room, rather than the outside. Our house is one year old and was already getting mold on the floor joists. Since the air in the crawlspace will now be heated in the winter and cooled in the summer, just like the rest of the house, the mold and cold (52 degrees) floors we experienced last winter will hopefully be eliminated. We shall see when dumb winter gets here."
