"To be honest I thought they would have a hard time getting the clog cleared, which I had been working on all week but within about 20 minutes Juan had the line unclogged and the toilet flowing. He was great to work with and I would definitely recommend them to anyone."

"Internet connection was weak, garbled communication. But, they remained very professional and we could crack a joke every now and then when things got annoying. Once up and running the diagnostic test was done in 5 min. Confirming my suspicions. Part number was sent within minutes."

"Once we got over scheduling challenges (project was rescheduled a few times due to rain which is understandable, or a higher priority job), everything went really well. Ryan and crew arrived on time as planned and did an excellent job fixing the issue. After digging an area of the driveway, it was clear that the drainage line had crossed diagonally underneath the brick driveway. Replacing it would have required removing most of the bricks on a sloped driveway to reach the crushed pipe. Ryan, creatively, proposed installing a new line on the side of the driveway requiring only a narrow strip of bricks to be removed and reinstalled. Ryan and crew were hardworking, competent, creative, caring, and thorough. After completion of the work, they tested the new drainage line which all worked very well. All in all, working with Francis who provided the initial diagnosis and estimates and Ryan and team who did the project was pleasant and a good experience. I will utilize this company again."

"Good results in clearing my drain from kitchen island. It took a lot of effort to succeed. But it’s still very good some 3 weeks post job. They cleaned up after too."

Percolation Tests questions, answered by experts

Federal law doesn’t require homeowners to disclose the presence of asbestos in their home, but some states and local municipalities may require it. That is why it’s important to test an older home for asbestos and other health hazards before moving forward with a sale.

No, not all popcorn ceilings have asbestos, but a vast majority do. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) banned its use in 1973, although it still may have been used up through the early ‘90s. But, in general, homes built or remodeled before the early ‘80s likely utilized materials with asbestos. That being said, a professional test is the only way to determine for sure.

It is strongly advised not to touch or disturb asbestos-containing materials unless necessary. Asbestos fibers can be released into the air when the material is damaged or disturbed, posing serious health risks if inhaled. It is best to leave any handling of asbestos to trained professionals who can remove the asbestos safely.

In the 1980s, the use of asbestos in house siding materials underwent a significant decline, ultimately being phased out by the mid-1980s to early 1990s. This change was largely due to a growing awareness of the severe health risks associated with asbestos exposure, particularly its link to lung diseases and cancers. With increased public concern and regulatory agency involvement, building codes and regulations were updated to restrict the use of asbestos in construction materials.

Most manufacturers stopped putting asbestos in linoleum before 1980 due to public concerns about its toxicity. However, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) didn’t ban asbestos-containing products until 1989, and a comprehensive ban was not announced until 2024. This means that homes built after 1989 may still have asbestos in their flooring.
