"COLR does excellent work. They came out and delivered a project quote 1 day after I submitted my ANGI request. They quoted exactly what we wanted; no more and no less. They performed the work and we are extremely pleased. I believe we received excellent value for our investment. I will recommend this company without reservation to anyone looking for brick/paver renovation work. These are first rate professionals in the renovation business!!"

"This company was great to work with from beginning to end. The custom design process was great and we were included every step of the way. They replaced our old worn out deck area with decorative concrete and we added a bar, kitchen area and outdoor lighting. The owner personally selected all our plantings and they look great!! The project was completed in a timely manner and they kept our yard free of construction debris which we appreciated. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to upgrade their outdoor space."

Lighting questions, answered by experts

It’s not illegal to fly an American flag at night without a light shining on it, but the U.S. Flag Code notes that it’s respectful to provide illumination. Installing a flagpole light is also common practice and will add more to your home’s curb appeal at night. Choosing a solar-powered or battery-powered light for your flag is an affordable way to provide illumination.

Installations include new light fixtures, upgraded panels, fixed outlets, and tracked wiring continuity.

High-quality landscape lights that are hardwired and properly maintained can last for 10 to 25 years or more. You’ll usually get a longer lifespan from soffit lights and wall-mounted lights that aren’t directly exposed to the elements or prone to damage from foot traffic or vehicle traffic. Solar-powered and battery-powered lights often won’t last as long, but you can still expect a lifespan of five to 15 years.

Local building codes typically require conduit around exterior wiring. Conduit protects the wire from moisture, extreme temperatures, sun exposure, and harsh weather conditions to prolong its lifespan. When a wire is worn out, it can be dangerous as the risk of electric shock or fire increases.

One possibility is that they aren’t getting enough sunlight during the day, which could be due to a lack of sunshine in your area or trees blocking the solar panel. Alternatively, if the solar panel is dirty or the batteries are dying, your solar lights might not operate at full brightness.
