They also replaced the old, rusty parts of the plumbing stack in the basement, which had evidence of prior leaking, and they added a new washing machine drain stand pipe. They also found a leak in one of the pipes in the wall between the bathroom and the kitchen, and they replaced the leaking part, which had the added benefit of making the bathroom drain and the kitchen drain flow better.
