"Taylor and his crew were wonderful to work with. The fence was finished nicely and they cleaned up the site afterwards. I am very happy with how it turned out. Highly recommend Bullseye Fencing!"

"Bob Perkins, the owner, was great!  It took us a little while to get on the same page, Bob's truck broke down the day we were supposed to meet for a quote, but he provided a rough estimate based on my description and the length of fence I needed.  I was able to send him a plot layout, to which he refined his quote.  I received quotes from a few other companies as well, and Bob's was the one of the best prices, especially the quality of work he described.  Because of the time of year (apparently everyone got fences this summer!), it took a few weeks to get Bob and his guys out there.  In that time, we had an issue with our HOA approval and ended up changing the plan two or three times.  Bob responded each time with a new quote, adjusting based on my new descriptions.
Once he finally got out there, he confirmed the plan he had was the most recent and correct version, and then his guys got to work.  Three days and we had a fence.  The first day was setting posts.  The guys did that in half a day, and even cut back a few trees in the way for a minimal price (we agreed on in the beginning).  The second day was the concrete setting, no work to be done.  On the third day, the framing went up and the pickets attached.  Everything was done with such care, the fence looks great.  In fact, our neighbors across the street stopped by to get Bob's card, because they were considering a fence and were so impressed with his work.
Bottomline: Initial coordination was a bit lacking, largely my fault though.  Bob responded when needed and the end product is excellent!

"Great looking quality fence. Had both an aluminum and vinyl fence installed. Just some minor communication issues with the second half of the job. Overall great work."

"Lance and his company was most professional and courteous before we even committed to an install. Once we scheduled an install, it was well executed and looked and worked great. Training was done by a superb trainer that our dog took to immediately. You can tell they care about their profession as well as the animal. A year later, damage was done by a third party. Lance himself showed up promptly on a holiday weekend to fix the fence and save our weekend. I can't recommend Lance's Hidden Fencing enough. A+ job."

"Bruce Mantz did a great job!  I cannot express how happy I am that he came out quickly to give me an estimate and understood exactly what I wanted done and listened to my concerns about working around our Invisible Fence (some wire is above ground due to a lot of trees).  He and his crew came out the next day and did exactly what needed to be done as promised and what was on the estimate.  I really appreciate that the owner himself supervised the job and made sure it was done to my satisfaction before he left.  It looks even better than I though it would.  Very hardworking and efficient crew, they were on time with an advance text letting me know exactly when they'd arrive.  In fact, the job was done so efficiently, before he left, I asked him to give me an estimate on another large project.  I highly recommend this company to get done any yardwork project you may have.  The owner is very efficient, professional, knowledgable and conscientious.  I'm very glad I found this company on Angie's List! "

Fencing questions, answered by experts

There are a variety of second-story deck privacy ideas depending on your budget and aesthetic. For starters, you might consider fencing or tall privacy railing that masks a good portion of the open deck. A pergola or an awning can provide additional cover and shade. Outdoor curtains are an easy way to add or remove privacy at your convenience, plus they’re a wallet-friendly way to decorate your deck.

If you’re part of a homeowners association (HOA), you’ll need to speak with them regarding your fence repairs prior to starting work. Sometimes, you’ll need HOA approval to start repairs and ensure that the completed project meets their standards. In other cases, direct approval might not be required to start the project. Speaking with your HOA first will help avoid any unnecessary fines and headaches.

Yes, you can use a floor jack to remove fence posts. Attach a stem to the base of the fence post so you can position the floor jack underneath. The stem can be a scrap piece of wood attached with nails or a sturdy nail itself. Put the jack beneath the stem and push the lever to lift up on the fence post and remove it from the ground.

The best fence option for you depends on your property, budget, and style preferences, but a corrugated metal fence could be a good option if you want something durable yet low-maintenance. Unlike wood, corrugated metal won’t fall prey to rot or pest damage, and the metal can be recycled after its life as a fence comes to an end.

Moisture and rot are the largest threat to wooden fences. Stain can help your wood fence last 15 to 20 years, but only if you choose a stain with waterproofing qualities or add a sealant. Oil-based stains create a thicker moisture barrier than water-based stains, though both are mold and mildew resistant. You’ll generally need to re-stain your fence every one to eight years to get full protection.
