After we came to a mutual agreement, I appreciated the way he structured our contract to include progress payments based on the completion of various work phases and not on specific dates. He remodeled my kitchen by performing many tasks such as tearing out the old kitchen; installing new flooring, cabinets; LED can lights, a new garbage disposal, an over-the-range microwave oven, and backsplash; building floating shelves; relocating a ceiling fan; and re-connecting all appliances. When challenges arose because of a faulty design by another firm, Rob was quick to provide thoughtful alternative methods to overcome the design flaws. He worked diligently throughout the process, rarely stopping to eat lunch. Finally, when the work was completed, Rob did a fantastic job of removing machine dust from the exterior of the cabinets, the backsplash, large appliances, and the flooring. I was impressed that he was not a sub-contractor as the service I had been using. I could be assured of quality work each time they came to my house. I liked how clean and organized his Mr. Handyman truck was, and the quality of his tools. Here, I thought, is a real professional who takes pride in his work. The entire structure was well made. I was especially concerned that the step railing was sturdy and made to last .He even brought his own generator to power his tools, since there was no easy access to an outside outlet, and I needed to leave for a while.
