"Excellent cleaning job! Three courteous, friendly and hard-working people. Very professional! The only downfall was that they were about an hour late without a phone call."

"Could not be more pleased. Brett introduced himself....he was pleasant and went right to work. I was charged the exact amount of the estimate for the power washing & made arrangements to have him come back for sealing the cement which is an extra charge, which I knew from the beginning. I always have the cement sealed which lasts for about 3 years. Everything is so clean and bright! I was so pleased, I asked him for an estimate to power wash the outside in the fall. I live in a condo, so I will have to talk to my neighbor regarding the cost. He has a long list of services which I will keep in mind for the fall! I will recommend him to family, friends and Angie's list users!"

"I was very pleased with the service. The technician was pleasant, professional, and punctual. He explained everything, arrived on the day scheduled and within the allotted time scheduled. I was amazed at all the debris that was in the ductwork ( we had never had it cleaned since we built the house 7 years ago). Since the cleaning, I have noticed that the house does not get as dusty as it had in the past and I am sneezing less. I would highly recommend this company."

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

These hardworking scrubbers should be replaced every six months. Most toilet brushes have nylon bristles, and over time, these bristles can bend, fray, or fall out, reducing the effectiveness of the brush. Silicone brushes hold their shape longer, but the softer bristles are less effective at removing residue and build-up. To clean your toilet brush after use, spray it with a disinfecting cleaner and let it air dry by closing the handle under the toilet seat and letting the brush head drip into the toilet bowl.

The average house cleaner cost is around $180, which should cover about four hours of work. However, each project is different and costs can range from $100 to $1,000, depending on the house size and the cleaning needed. Other cost factors can include your location and what level of cleaning you want. Standard or basic cleaning may include vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting the kitchen and bathrooms. Deep cleaning costs about twice as much and often includes cleaning behind and underneath furniture, washing windows, and polishing hard-to-clean surfaces. Emergency cleaning, extreme cleaning, and holidays also impact pricing. Move-in and move-out cleaning typically cost more, too, because of the extensive, whole-house cleaning involved.

Yes. Baking soda and vinegar—when diluted with water—are safe to use to clean sticky laminate floors.

Yes, if you’re strapped for supplies, boiling hot water can be a great alternative for getting rid of soap scum. However, as this method calls for a bit of soaking, it’s best used when cleaning your bathroom sink or bath basin (or on small objects you can submerge). All you have to do is plug your sink or bathtub drain and pour in enough boiling water to cover the soap scum. Allow it to soak for five minutes, drain, and follow up with an additional hot water rinse to remove any lingering residue.

Ideally, you should do a cleaning once every week. Make your fridge cleaning a part of your weekly Sunday chores, if possible. This will prevent bacteria from breeding and help your fridge work more efficiently; spilled food can cause food to build up near the fridge vents, which forces your fridge to do more work to stay at an optimal cold temperature.
