FoamWorks Concrete Leveling is a local, family-owned concrete repair company with over 30 years of construction experience, 12 years specializing in concrete leveling, cracked concrete repair, concrete sealing, and concrete caulking. Our work includes projects big and small throughout Northwest Ohio, including municipal concrete services for the Perrysburg School Board as well as the Parks and Recreation.

"The patio had sunk and some places were like 2 inches higher. Now it is all one level. Mason and his crew were professional about the job they did. When they left everything was cleaned up and looking much nicer then before."

Service oriented private business serving a wide aray of customers on many tasks/projects; personal or private services, construction services, business services, financial services etc

"Horrible craftsmanship. He did not order the materials as draws were paid, then wanted more money to order materials. Installed a boat lift as part of the project, it was not installed to spec and dropped our boat. The seawall steps have washed out from rain. Left trash, building scraps all over the work site."

Concrete Leveling questions, answered by experts

A concrete pathway is very durable and can last upward of 30 years under normal conditions. Heavy snowfall and excessive heat may decrease this lifespan over time, as can vehicle traffic and salt applications during freezing conditions. Homeowners in extreme climates might notice cracking and deterioration after just 15 years, while those in more temperate climates should see multiple decades of life from their concrete.

In most cases, the cost to pour a concrete patio falls between $8 and $12 per square foot. For a typical 200-square-foot concrete patio, you’re looking at an average price of between $1,600 and $2,400. Most concrete patios will be 4 inches thick, so thickness plays a minimal role in the price variance, but some types of concrete finishes can cost up to $25 per square foot, which has a major impact on your total.

For homeowners, it’s better to dry grind concrete. Dry grinding is the method described above and can be done by experienced DIYers for smaller projects. Wet grinding requires a big volume of water, a way to collect the slurry created by the water and dust, and an environmentally-safe place to dispose of the slurry. In general, only professionals do wet grinding.

Magnesium chloride is often said to be the safest salt-based option for pet owners. Potassium chloride and calcium chloride are other common choices. For homeowners with dogs, urea is generally safe for their paws and won’t be harmful if ingested. You might also consider opting for an ice melt brand designed with pet safety in mind.

Yes, you can change the color of concrete countertops multiple times. If you use paint rather than a stain, you can go from dark to light, but if you are only using a stain, you can go from light to dark.
