"We are very happy with the work and the out come.  James and his crew were professional and easy to work with.  He worked with us to find ways to reduce the costs which turned out great.  There were some issues along the way and James worked with us to cover come the issues in a manner that was professional and customer service focused. The only item I could point out as an area for improvement was around communication.  While James called us almost every evening after he did work at our house to ensure everything went well and to see if we had any questions, there were times when he made a request without providing much notice.  A specific example was a call in the evening to check up but also inform us that we needed to have the lights for under the cabinets the next day.  We were able to get them but it would be nice to this request with more than a days notice.  Overall, the process went very well and  I would absolutely use them again for remodeling projects.

"Trino and his crew did an amazing job! They spent 4 days stripping and refinishing our two large mahogany front doors and they turned out beautifully. They carefully taped off the entire lower level and painted two coats to cover the existing darker paint color. The crew was prompt, tidy and professional. "Bottom Line Up Front: if you need a contractor to pour concrete for patio, garage, etc. look no further. Jim and his crew at Powerhouse were absolutely amazing. I say this as I was (embarrassingly so) that nightmare customer who could not make up his mind and thankfully Jim was right there to calmly lead me thru various solutions for my patio. I needed a patio extension so that can build a gazebo on it next month and he designed options that met all the future project's requirements without breaking the bank. He really knows his business. Jim is not only patient, but trustworthy too. He talked me out of a very expensive approach that I had asked for my patio by explaining that for what I was going to use it for, a less costly option would actually serve me better in the long run. Oh and remember I said I couldn't make up my mind. Well...halfway through the initial phase of the project I changed the dimensions and lay out of the patio twice. Instead of getting frustrated with me (the crazy customer), he said and I quote "no problem my friend, we will make it happen...that is what a good contractor does." To wrap this up, I was very impressed with the end product as it was very well done and looked incredible.
