His team completed the addition of a bedroom, bathroom, pantry and breeze way as well as additional concrete work including a parking pad and sidewalks to the front of the house. Scott was very good about making sure the quality of the work met his and our expectations and was done efficiently. Communication was good, and work was done as scheduled, the only delays were due to rainy weather. In addition to the original scope of work, Scott was able to include the installation of flooring and lighting in the original house to the scope.

Scott and his team did an excellent job building a new wall right in the entrance of our house for my wife’s new office. Had 1 minor repair on a 45 corner where the seam was tearing. Scott and team were very quick to respond and came back and repaired the seam and honored warranty without any issues. Honest and reliable contractor that I would highly recommend for future work.

Finding a good, reliable contractor is a bit of a crap shoot especially when you’re looking at a major home renovation and investing a lot of money in to that project. Many contractors get a reputation of being unreliable, shows up late if at all on the dates & time promised, poor communication, only work a couple hours then leave the project and worst of all don’t do take pride in their work and the quality is not what you paid for. You can do your due diligence by check references; BBB complaints; state licensing; State AG’s office of complaints; read customer comments on review sites and then pick a few to interview. Still, it’s no guarantee you’re going to get a “good one”. You hire them then hold your breath. We just went thought all of this for a total kitchen remodel (floor up). After going through all of this we found a gem in American Made Contractors and Scott Padgett. Our projected started 7 months ago with research and after we selected Scott, his communication MONTHS before the project started was superb. He was a resource we could use as we went through the planning stages and selection process. We probably talk to him 2 times a week during this and then almost daily as our demo day approached. He and his hand selected crew showed up when promised (for various phased), worked all day, cleaned up before leaving, found and fixed things that were discovered, give critical feedback on decisions during the project and took immense pride in his craftsmanship. Scott is a master carpenter and been at this for 37 years and it showed. He brought up additional ideas as the project progressed and incorporated them in to our kitchen. Just as important my wife was completely comfortable with everyone that came to the house. Our new kitchen is beautiful! Scott does any kind of home renovation. If it’s a bathroom, kitchen, home addition, room alteration etc… he’s done it. EIt went very well. I was out of town most of the time that the work was performed. All of the planning and purchasing had occurred before I left. Scott Padgett, the general Contractor did an excellent job at communication and job performance. I highly recommend American make up chargers

Wonderful. I would highly recommend Scott. Very conscientious, always on time. If he wasn't on time he would call. He was a perfectionist, very much into detail. Followed up on his work after he did it. He and his workers were trustworthy and responsible. He was very creative and knowledgeable about his craft and clean.

Work was completed on schedule. Contractor communicated plans and problems effectively and made suggestions for modifications that improved the overall results. The workman were professional and kept the area clean. Generally they were easy to work with and fair with the estimates of timing and cost. I would not hesitate to use them again for any home remodelling project.

Completed on time and will hire again.
