"Micah arranged for one of his crew to mow our lawn before we even selected his company as our provider.  He knew it was getting overgrown and we didn't have anyone lined up yet.  When we did select Dean Landscaping, we got off to a rocky start.  Micah had promised someone knowledgeable and capable of pruning beyond the normal "ball" or "hedge" shape.  He took a long time to deliver on that, and then the person had none of the qualities we were seeking.  We had some words with Micah about this, and he was probably just as unhappy as we were.  When we finally acknowledged that we are "picky" and we needed to search further for an expert in that area, we became more satisfied to keep Dean Landscaping for our mowing and edging only.  Micah has a nice crew of college students who have an excellent work ethic and are pleasant to be around.  They do a great job with the mowing and edging, and clean up our property very well before leaving.  They are very dependable.  At this point, we definitely plan to continue to use Dean Landscaping for our future lawn maintenance.  The only criticism now is that we have an irrigation system that should not be run the day before or the day of mowing.  Sometimes the day is changed and we have one area that tends to flood and then is too wet to mow.  Advance notice of a route change would be helpful to them and to us.  This has not been a problem the last few weeks, so maybe there aren't any issues remaining.  Bottom line is that we are satisfied with the job they are doing and will continue to use them.  Would recommend them to others.   We rated them an "A" based on lawn care only, but others may also find them perfectly suitable for bed maintenance as well.
