"Eli and his crew saved my build. My wife and I struggled to find honest, kind, and hardworking contractors, but Eli helped us tremendously in all phases of our project (a complete home renovation). He is very knowledgeable and was able to problem solve and find solutions to problems that came up. He didn't delay or put me off. I always felt like a priority and he got work done when he said he would. His crew is very friendly and I had NO concerns about leaving them on the site without me. We are very happy with the work he's done for us. They would go the extra mile and never took shortcuts. I was very involved with our project, overseeing all stages of the build. Eli was the only contractor who didn't take shortcuts or try and get out of fixing a mistake. He was always willing to address any issue that came up and didn't make me feel as though I was wasting his time for asking questions and making suggestions. It is hard to find competent and trustworthy contractors these days, but Eli and his crew were instrumental in helping us finish our home. I highly recommend his services."

"We had Remark Construction finish our basement recently, and honestly, the whole experience was fantastic. From day one, they were super professional, easy to talk to, and really respectful of our home and time. At the start of the project, we worked directly with Chris, the owner, and he was great—quick to respond, gave us a fair price, and explained everything clearly. He laid out the process in a way that made sense and didn’t drag things out. We always knew what to expect, and he gave us a few pricing options so my husband and I could make the best decision for us. When it came time to sign the contract, Chris and Jesse sat down with us and walked through every detail. They were so easy to work with and made sure we were all aligned before moving forward. The selection process was super smooth—the whole team helped guide us through it, and they made it easy for us to make choices without feeling overwhelmed. Once things got rolling, the project moved fast. Our site manager, Brandon, was amazing. He gave us true white glove service—always professional, incredibly detail-oriented, and consistently went above and beyond. He kept us updated daily and weekly, made sure we understood what was happening, and double-checked every decision before moving forward. He was also incredibly respectful of our home. "Gus came and quoted a few jobs back in September 2020. He wasn't the cheapest and he was very pleasant and reponsive on the quotes. He also was very professional during that time. Gus delayed the project twice prior to starting saying that another job was taking longer than expected. After Gus started in mid-October he was here by 9am every day starting out. Following that he would show up later and later and later and although slow progress was being made he never really showed any motivation to complete the work. As the project went on I paid all invoices within a day and was punctual with any questions that he had. Gus finished some of the bathrooms but there were still some major punchlist items needing fixed. He did not caulk appropriately around the tub and wainscoting. The plumbing work and drywall were both shoddy and needed repaired. I asked for items to be fixed and it was never done. Eventually after having to ask for Gus to fix the bad work he just stopped showing up. I continued to ask for a schedule of return to work for 2 weeks. After which, Gus did the same thing as the other reviewer and sent a cease and desist letter and an invoice for an additional $3500 for work that he said was done (it wasn't) and work he said was agreed to (it wasn't). On top of that I had already paid him over $17K in deposits for the work which he never completed nor started. All in all he was trying to scam me for over $20K. Luckily I paid with a credit card and was able to get reimbursed. Now I am stuck with a total of $6000 to repair the work he already completed, this repair cost us more than his original work. I would not recommend."
