"I'm newer to my home and keep running into surprises.  The latest being a incredibly noisy attic fan that sucked in my newly installed attic insulation.  Dennis come over right on time.  He listened to my issue and then checked out my whole attic.  After he got a good idea what's going on holistically with the ventilation, he suggested tuning up the fan instead of disconnecting as I first suggested.  He also fixed it so the loose insulation would get clogged in the motor again.  He said if I wasn't happy with the solution, he come back and make it right.  I don't think there will be any issues.  I'm sure I'll run into more surprises in the future and will make sure to call Dennis.

"It went as I expected. The cleaning of the furnace seemed like it was cleaned as in the past. The only problem I had was with the upgrade of my space guard filter. The parts to update were either not on the truck or the the service man didn't know how to install it. Arangements were made to make the upgrade when I get my clean and check in the fall. I have had much better servive men in the pass. If I would of had one of the other service men my rating would have been much much higher. I want to point out that this was a service contract which includes a winter check and a spring check."

"My wife and I are licensed architects and very particular and demanding of our contractors. Bob explained the technology of his products and took the time to listen and understand the job. He was flexible and able to use the particular shingle we wanted which wasn't his preferred brand. We also replaced a flat roofed porch and, on the week of the job, we asked that he install a roll roofing material that closely matched the roof shingles' color. He quickly located that particular material which was not at his usual supplier. Most contractors would not have catered to their clients as he did. His workers showed up when they said and were neat and courteous. The flat roof took much longer than expected due to the difficulty of removing the railing, but they didn't charge more. The roofs look great and we are glad to have chosen Northeast Ohio Renovations."

I had to make a few calls to get answers. But I figured if I could get the high priority items done it would still be worth it, especially for the price (an Angie's List special deal - 8 hours for $299). Colin arrived on time and diligently worked through the list. He was personable, answered questions and offered advice. Some of the things he did: planed 3 sticky doors, repaired a steel door where the layers were separating, repaired a gate opening and changed out the hardware, installed a light fixture, changed a lawn mower blade, replaced weatherstripping on garage door, re-caulked two sinks, installed a wall coat rack, several hooks and a towel bar and replaced blinds."
