  I felt they did a very good job. They cleaned the flower beds, divided the annuals and transplanted them in empty spaces. Installed a few new plants for variety. I asked them to put whatever was removed (mostly Hosta) along the fence for my kids to use at their homes. I couldn't have been happier with the work they did. My disappointment came on the last day. I calculated in my mind how much the quote broke down to an hour. I was told they would be finished by 2:00 the afternoon of the last day. I could tell they had under quoted by an hour or two, because they still had two large flower beds to clean up when 2:00 rolled around. I knew it would be another 2 or 3 hours and I decided, since I was so happy with what they had done, I was going to pay them their rate for the last 2 or 3 hours extra it would take them to finish up. If the sales rep, Troy Richards, who would pop in and out to oversee the job, had been around in the final afternoon, I would have told him my good intentions. I did not want to cheat anyone out of the money they deserved. Much to my surprise, I looked out my back window at 2:15 to see how they were progressing and they were GONE! Packed up at 2:00 and never said a word. I thought maybe they needed to be on time for another job that day and would be back later in the week. I felt this was very unprofessional. I was available to discuss any extra time that may have been needed, even though it clearly stated they would clean up ALL existing beds. I had a larger flower bed outside my back fence, which, if they had time, they were going to work on, but it was not promised and I didn't expect it. But I was let down when the last two flower beds by the patio and deck were not cleared out and divided like the other front and back beds had been. The yard was spotless when they left. I thought they did a great job, just disappointed they didn't finish it. I kept thinking they would return to finish the beds. I didn't call because I had the wedding to on my mind and many other details to manage. As you can tell, I'm still disappointed they quit when the money was up and not when the estimate was finished. The price of $2284 reflects a $100 Angie's list discount, and I did not include the taxshow more

  We bought the 4 hours of yard clean up for $99 as an Angie's Deal. We had to wait a little to get a response but they were always very friendly. They sent an e-mail with the date the workers would be at our house, but I didn't see it. Luckily we were home the day that AJ and Javory came to do the work. We have a tree line at the back of our property that we wanted cleaned up and poison ivy/oak pulled from (had major vines growing up some of the trees). They removed everything that that they could and cleaned it all up. We had them remove a big log along with all the leaves and debris. With the time left they edged our flower beds. AJ and Javory did an amazing job. They worked to get everything they could done for us in the 2 hours (4 man hours) that they had scheduled for usshow more

  We originally used Landscaping by Terra to put in a dry creek bed and some significant landscaping in our back yards. That project went amazing and they are our go to company for landscaping needs. The fall clean up, while not as exciting as new landscaping, was handled extremely well. Scheduling was easy and done through e-mail (my preference). They were amenable to scheduling us late in the year, which is perfect as we have a couple trees that hold their leaves a long time. The crew that did the clean up did an amazing job. There wasn't a leaf left in the yard and everything looked gorgeous. We have a couple beds of ivy that take a lot of trimming/thinning out and they handled them perfectly. All our considerable ornamental grasses were cut down without any debris left in the yard. Landscaping by Terra is a great company to work with.
