"Ryan’s crew did an outstanding job removing the trees from my front yard. The trees were leaning towards my home. Ryan’s crew took extra precautions to ensure the trees fell away from the house. They very respectful of the property, and even went the extra mile and chipped the tops of the trees for me. Ryan Cunningham Services is a reliable and trustworthy company. The owner is a man of his word with a great work ethic and it shows in the job(s) he and his crew do."

"Came out to my house the next day and gave me an estimate that was acceptable. They removed one small stump, one medium rotted stump and one medium solid stump in about 20 minutes. Only negative is that the machine blew chips all over our deck that I had to blow off which really wasn’t a big deal. Both guys were professional and very nice. Definitely recommend them! Was cheaper than renting the stump grinder myself and a whole lot easier on my back!!!"

Topsoil costs from $12 to $55 per cubic yard, depending on the type you choose. For example, screened black dirt will cost about $15 per cubic yard. Loam (soil composed of sand, silt, and clay) costs about $17 per cubic yard. Standard screened topsoil costs about $20 per cubic yard. The type of topsoil you need depends on your landscaping plans.
Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.
