He went above and beyond. Contracted him to do lot survey for purchase of home. When I mentioned that I was interested in installing fence, he put up a string line and extra stakes for no extra fee.

After deciding we needed to have the correct property boundary determined at one of our rental properties, we turned to Angie's List to locate a surveyor. We called two companies and left a message. Chris from Rhyne Land Surveying returned my call within two hours and apologized for the delay as he was out doing field work on another project. We gave him the property information needed and he was very prompt in responding with a pricing quote. On the day of the survey, we met Chris at the property to discuss the details of the survey process and the concerns of an existing fence that was not on the correct boundary line. Chris was very professional in explaining the details of what would be involved in this particular situation. He called when he finished the field work (just as he said he would) and informed us he would have the paperwork completed the next day!! The following day we met with him at the property and he walked with us completely around the property explaining every detail. He was even so kind as to point out the poison ivy so we could avoid it. Chris did not just place markers at the corners of the property but also placed markers at intervals along the boundary line so we could place our privacy fence in the correct position. We would highly recommend Rhyne Land Surveying and would most definitely call Chris with any future surveying needs!!

Chris Rhyne was patient in answering questions. He did a professional job in marking the property and providing a detailed plot map. Survey was done on a Friday. The map was ready by Monday.

Chris was great. The bank required a foundation survey to release funds to the builder so we wanted this to happen as quickly as possible. The final product was back in our hands within a week of first calling. Other surveyors in town couldn't even get to the property for over 3 weeks. Highly recommend!

Mr. Rhyne contacted me promptly with a polite message letting me know he was available to perform the services in my relatively short time frame (1 week), which I especially appreciated around the Thanksgiving holiday.
At his advisement, he recommended I wait to get the survey until after my home inspection, thereby saving me money if a severe issue happened to arise from the home inspection that would of caused me to walk away from the purchase (deeming a survey unnecessary). I really appreciated this candid recommendation, exemplifying his professionalism to me.
Granted, this is my first home purchase and first experience with a land survey, I was very impressed with the deliverable map and his explanation of findings on the lot.
His lower price is the reason I initially chose his services, but I do not think I sacrificed any quality after my experience working with him. His estimate of $350 for about a .25 acre lot was $100 cheaper than 2 other quotes (and $150 cheaper than a 3rd). He was also willing to let me pay for his services in my financing (through my closing attorney), which really worked for my budget.
I highly recommend Mr. Rhyne's services to any home buyer looking for a thorough survey

Called Chris Rhyne and he answered, gave me a quote, and set up the appointment on the first call. Showed up when expected, completed the survey, called me the next day to arrange to present it to me, walk my property boundaries, answer my questions, and give me several stamped copies of the survey. Chris was very professional and I would highly recommend his services.

We decided to have a fence installed on our property and needed a land survey completed which is required by our HOA (the survey required a map of the property). I contacted a few land surveyors to obtain quotes and approximate timeframe to get the survey completed. Based on the quotes we received, we decided to go with Rhyne Land Surveying. Mr Rhyne surveyed my property the next day while I was at work (Friday). He was going to hand deliver the completed survey to me on Monday, but unfortunately my schedule would not allow it. I asked if he could deliver it Tuesday morning but to my surprise he offered to bring it to me Saturday so I could submit my paperwork to the HOA on Monday. He provided me a detailed certified survey and showed us the stakes/rings he placed on our property lines for future reference. He was extremely prompt and professional - I would use him again without hesitation.

Called them for an estimate. They called back promptly with an estimate and came out the next day and completed the work. Even came back the next morning if I wanted to walk the boundary line or answer any questions.
