The business was focused primarily on the repair/restoration of the Chevrolet Corvette. Mike was on the cutting edge of fiberglass repairs and quickly cemented his reputation within the Middletown, Ohio community for providing top quality repairs, friendly customer service, and amazing paint finishes. As Mike’s business grew, he began to get requests from other domestic made & import car owners to request he work with their insurance companies to perform auto body repair on non-fiberglass vehicles. After initially resisting the shift to work with all insurance repairs, Mike relented due to the sheer demand. After moving from a body shop located behind his home on Trenton-Franklin Rd, to a slightly larger facility in downtown Middletown, his son Craig joined him in the family business Craig joined his father Mike as they embarked on a new phase of expansion that led to the business now known as H&H Collision, Inc. H&H Collision Inc. has continued to build on the quality foundation that was established by Mike in the 70’s by consistently providing quality repairs, top quality customer service, and a clean/safe environment for our neighbors in Middletown, West Chester, Liberty Twp, Mason, Springboro, and Waynesville areas. The business now not only focuses on automobiles, but all recreational vehicles (RV’s, Campers, boats, waverunners, & commercial trailers).

Buffing and Polishing questions, answered by experts

Acid can seriously damage granite countertops and lead to etching and erosion. This is why cleaning with vinegar isn’t recommended. Other acidic items that you should keep away from your granite countertops include:

  • Citrus

  • Acetone nail polish remover

  • Tomatoes

  • Ammonia

In addition, always steer clear of using bleach on or around your granite as it will degrade the countertop’s sealant quickly.

To remove cloudiness from marble, use equal parts baking soda and water to form a paste. Apply it to the surface, allow it to sit for at least two hours, then wipe with a microfiber cloth. Another option is adding a couple of dish soap drops to warm water and wiping the surface after you’ve applied it to the surface. You may also consider using a liquid stone cleaner.

Granite and marble compare well against each other in terms of price, durability, and aesthetic appeal. Deciding which one is better depends on your personal style and preference. Both materials resist damage like chips and cracks well. You should seal both material types against staining and etching, but they’re still susceptible if oil, wine, coffee, tomato sauce, or juice are left on the countertop long enough. As material and installation costs range similarly, the deciding factor is your budget, design, and preferences.

Yes, stains can often be removed using a poultice paste that draws out the stain. The paste is applied, allowed to dry, and then removed, lifting the stain from the stone.

Using water when cutting stone drastically reduces the amount of dust that comes off the stone. It’s beneficial to cut down on the amount of dust for respiratory and other safety reasons, such as keeping your vision clear while using an electric tool. Even with protective eyewear, the dust can still cloud your safety glasses. You should always wear protective gear when cutting stone.
