"Workers showed up half hour early which is good by me. They cleaned out all 3 sections of system without being told to. Kind of surprised to be charged $100 extra to do gravel filter but I am glad it is all done for this year."

"TnT did an excellent job with My bathroom remodel. They were prompt to get us in and very professional. I am very pleased with both the service provided and the very fair price they did work for. Would recommend this company to anyone"

"Amazing, amazing, amazing. I can't say enough about how completely awesome this renovation has been. Jason worked with me to figure out a way to make even more space in my bathroom, pushing out a wall that would allow him to install the vanity parallel to the toilet. He tackled an immensely difficult project in the flooring, as my basement slopes; it required a fair amount of leveling before the tile could be installed. Everything was done to my satisfaction (and then some). I have a four-star bathroom in my basement thanks to all the hard work Jason put in. He was a pleasure to work with and easy to talk to, and I definitely will call him again for my next project.

"The service went well. I had them install a couple of indoor/outdoor light fixture and motion sensors. One technician came and did a good job. He was professional and I had no problem scheduling the deal."

"The service turned out good. I was happy with the furnace because he gave me a Lenix. They came out the day after I purchased the big deal. He came out one day to check everything out, and he came out the next day to install the furnace. They were very professional, the only problem was that they weren't prompt, they told me that they were in the process of moving, and that is why they weren't prompt. Everything else was okay, they had proper IDs and uniforms, and even the vehicle was new with their name on it. I was impressed with that. I didn't compare the prices, but comparing it with Ebay, it was fair."

"I purchased this as a Big Deal on the Angle's List site. The toughest part of the job was that I had a malfunctioning bathroom fan that needed to be replaced. We found that the way the fan had been mounted, there was no way to replace it with a new fan. So he took the back with him to Dayton and found someone who could repair it. Then, he came back, put the fan back in, and cleaned the gutters and cut up and disposed of big tree limbs. It was such a relief to get the fan fixed!

Install Garbage Disposal questions, answered by experts

Once you have your garbage disposal disconnected, you can remove the mounting bracket by unscrewing the bolts that are holding the bracket. You can back them out just enough to pop off the snap ring, which prevents the bottom portion of the bracket from disconnecting from the top when you unscrew the bolts. Use a regular screwdriver to pop off the snap ring, and the rest of the components should fall off by themselves.

While the drain connection for a garbage disposal is nearly universal and fits standard sink drain holes of 3 1/2 to 4 inches, the size of the disposal unit itself is not. You must have enough space in the cabinet underneath your sink to accommodate the disposal's housing. A larger model may not fit in a compact cabinet or if the existing plumbing is arranged in an unusual way. Before buying a new garbage disposal, measure the available space under your sink. If you are replacing an old unit, it's often easiest to choose a new model of a similar size.

No, you do not need a garbage disposal to have a dishwasher. A dishwasher will work without one, and while it's rare to see a home with a dishwasher that doesn't have a disposal, it is possible. The two appliances pair well and are often installed together because a disposal simplifies meal cleanup.

However, your dishwasher should not be used as a replacement for a garbage disposal. Subjecting it to continuous food leftovers can lead to major clogs. If you choose not to install a garbage disposal, you should thoroughly rinse your plates or scrape excess food into the trash or a compost pile before loading them into the dishwasher to prevent plumbing issues.

When a dishwasher discharges its wastewater, it uses a pump to quickly move a lot of water. If anything in the drain line or the garbage disposal impedes the high volume of water, it will back up into the sink through the drain or the garbage disposal. Following regular dishwasher maintenance tips like clearing clogs, keeping them cleared, and occasionally running the disposal will eliminate the problem.

In some cases, it’s more cost-effective in the long run to replace a garbage disposal, but it depends on the specific issue you’re having and the age of your disposal. You should ask a garbage disposal repair tech for a quote to repair your appliance and then see if it would be more worthwhile to replace it. Additionally, garbage disposals last for around 15 years, so if you know your appliance is reaching that age, it’s likely better to pay for a new garbage disposal rather than sink money into repairs.
