Goddess Construction

It was a complete disaster! From the beginning once I paid the deposit they scheduled then turn around and canceled they did this numerous times. Made promises never followed through. Once I paid they called us a few days later requesting more money even thought the deposit was for the materials plus labor. I told them I didn’t feel comfortable giving them more seeing they had never started the job nor at that point showed up yet. Once they showed up the first day they tried to get out of working saying we don’t want to leave you without a sink, we replied we have other ones. Over a two month time the total hours they work were slightly less than 12 once they removed some water, mold damaged sub flooring they had cut a electrical wire underneath that went to the bathroom fan below. Not only did they leave that wire exposed they laid back over the water and mold damaged wood. The hole was left that way for weeks. We taped the wire and kept off the electrical to the bathroom underneath waiting for them to fix it. Finally after weeks I insisted they fix it and the flooring. The contractor just wanted to use the damage flooring and not replace it with new plywood. I told him no way I paid for plywood and he needed to do it correctly and replace the wire they cut. The drywall has never been finished they claim because I fire them but that isn’t exactly how that went I told them to finish the drywall that I paid them to do and after that point they were fired. The reason being is shoddy workmanship and numerous cancellations. The kicker is I paid for laminated flooring and they didn’t deliver all the materials until I got the State Attorneys Generals office involved then they deliver only part of the remaining flooring materials until I emailed the Attorneys General once again. The drywall is not finished and they will not refund me the $545.38 still due me. I have had contractors do my roof and gutters and they were professional this contractor sadly is not. We are senior citizens and my husband is a disabled veteran. We were fully taken advantage of by Goddess Constrution. My calls and text messages are unanswered as of this date.

The wallboard was damaged from an unknown leak, they removed all the tiling, then the wallboard,etc. Upon demo it was discovered the damage had come from outside due to ice damage under our siding.  Rick and Tracy worked efficiently with our insurance company's adjuster and aided our claim being processed well.  The project included going from hum-drum monochrome tile to an intriguing custom design.  We are much happier and it made the entire bathroom like new. All this happened right around the holidays and they took the time to help keep the tub/shower usable in the middle of work.  Rick even accommodated our desire to reuse as much of the old tile as possible.
We will definitely use Goddess Construction again!
They are dedicated contributors to our wider community performing charity and educational work with little fanfare.  Good people.
