Pitzer LandscapingNorm and his crew did outstanding work for us! We bought our house a little over a year ago, and the flippers left the outside to get overgrown. We did our best to rip things out on our own, but needed professionals to set us up for success to maintain a rather large front yard landscape area. Norm ended up grading and seeding our front lawn, establishing a new landscaping line, bringing in flat rock to match what was already at the house, placing a river rock bed, planting 4 box hedges, 4 hydrangeas, and a dogwood tree. A huge amount of work that they finished in just a few days, and for a reasonable price! Norm is responsive, communicative, and all around a great guy to work with. We'll be calling him soon to work on our side and back yards!- Emily C.

I'm not giving a price, though, because you can choose how many applications and of what that you want -- fertilizer, weed suppressors, liquid aeration, etc. So what I pay may not be what someone else choose to pay. The first year went great! My lawn was left in bad shape from the previous owners and lawn doctor had it looming almost as good as anyone on the block’s by the end of the summer. The second summer however, the “forgot” to do my backyard twice, didn’t come nearly as often as the first summer, and my lawn looked worse than it did the year before with dead grass patches and weeds all over the place. I also had a bad experience with their lawnmower maintenance service. They brought my lawnmower back dirty, the pull start was blown out, and it didn’t seem to work any better than before the tuneup.

Great. Weed Man called me quickly and explained their services, long acting fertilizer they use and the fact that you can call them back anytime for weed control at no cost. They are a bit more expensive, but I think they will be worth it.

Juan was a no show multiple times. We had to text him repeatedly to get him to show up! When he finally did show to do the job he was late and did not do the things he originally quoted. When he finally showed up he did not bring the dirt he quoted! He was to dig a drain trench which he did not do until we reminded him that this was in his original quote. It took multiple texts to get him to return to complete. He cut corners on everything. Would never recommend or use him again. We have a lot of work we would have hired him for had he proven to be a quality and professional hire.

Everything was set to go on Aug 1st. I checked with him the day before as to arrival time. I asked that he come a bit early as I wasn’t able to be there. He asked me to call him to come over that night but I was at a function and couldn’t. His response? “I’m moving on. Good luck.” Very unprofessional. Also didn’t want to give me a quote with our agreed-upon price until after the job was done. Felt shady.
