"We are sorry this member is upset with our company. This member has received three treatments to his lawn as of August 2013 and is scheduled for three more visits this season not four. This member is not scheduled for our regular standard program. In the future we will only provide our Standard Lawn Program of Six Visits and a Grub/Insect control. All lawn companies have had difficulty keeping treatments on schedule this year due to the late snow in March and the heavy rains through the summer. We are currently caught up and on schedule. The owner has personally treated this property in 2013 and the lawn is the best looking lawn on his court and has very few weeds and NO crabgrass. It does contain some coarse fescue that no company can control. No company can offer complete weed control and our company treats for weeds as needed each visit with a post emergent broadleaf weed control. This member has been a customer for years and we have never had a problem. This member had commented earlier this year how nice the lawn looked. We are puzzled by this report since the lawn does look very good. This member has not contacted us to complain about weeds and the last visit the owner reported VERY FEW broadleaf weeds along the curb where the grass is thin. We recommend that members contact us if they have a problem and we will do our best to resolve the issue. With the bad economy we are finding it harder to keep customers happy these days. Please keep in mind that NO lawn company can control all problems all of the time and deserve a chance to resolve any issues before a negative report is filed. We honestly feel this member is being very unfair to us and is greatly exaggerating this issue. Thank you!"

"We are sorry this member is upset with our company. Due to a software problem beyond our control this members fall treatments were not completed as was explained to this member. We appologized and offered to continue to to treat their lawn to use up the credit or issue them a refund check.. The member agreed to continue services. The credit was resolved the following spring and we continued with service as normal until several treatments had not been payed. The member never asked us to stop service and was asked to pay the outstanding balances. In an effort to satisfy this member we waived the outstanding charges and discontinued services. We would like to also point out that this members lawn was having a weed control issue mainly caused from lack of watering and improper mowing as can been seen from the enclosed picture. We always do everything we can to satisfy our customers but we do not have control over watering, mowing and computer cliches. As our record can attest we go out of our way to satisfy our customers and respond quickly to problems and work hard to resolve them. Our record can also attest that we are always polite and professional even when our office staff is verbally abused and threatened. We understand that many people these days are under financial stress and hardship, but taking out personal problems on a service provider who goes out of their way to remedy service issues is never the answer."

"We appreciate this members business and the time to post a report on our services. We do want to point out that we treat existing weeds every visit as needed. The weed control products all companies use do not prevent weeds like dandilions, clover, thistle and other Dicot/Broadleaf weeds. Maintaining a thick lawn with proper fertilization, mowing and watering will help keep weeds under control. Areas along the curb, driveway and roadway that become thin from high heat or weed whacker scalping will promote weed development between visits. Rest assured that our service will come out on a regular basis and treat weeds as needed to help keep them under control. Please keep in mind that no lawn service can promise you a totally weed free lawn. Thank you."

"I personally returned this members phone call regarding our collection of past due balances. Our payment terms are Due Upon Receipt. It is communicated from the beginning of starting our services that we would like payment withing one week of having received a treatment. This member was consistently past 30 days delinquent and was upset because we were calling him at work to collect past due balances. We do not begin calling past dues until a statement has been sent well past 30 days. We also started charging our customers a two dollar fuel surcharge in mid June when gas prices went well above our budgeted levels for the year. Our fertilizer costs also jumped fifteen percent in one week due to higher shipping costs. As a business we have to transfer our input costs to our customers to stay in business. I understand this member is having financial difficulties but I must point out that I am always polite and cordial to all customers even when they become verbally abusive like this member. When I can not reason with a customer and they are verbally abusive I will ask a customer to find another lawn service company. It is in our best interest to treat all customers with the respect they deserve. Thank you."
