We have used Capital City Ext for various pest control needs for several years.  Good service.  No issues.  They are a local business.  Easy to contact and schedule by telephone during business hours.  The also provide email notice the day prior to service for Service Plan treatments.

They are reliable and they do a good job. We tried a number of exterminators before them and nobody can really get the carpenter bees until we used Capital. It's a good value. They are very professional. They always call before they get here. We have pets so they tell us to put the pets in the house.

I have used Capital City Exterminating Company for several years and have consistently been happy with their services. However, this past service was notably exceptional and we could not be happier!
This summer, we had a horrible invasion of Wolf spiders outside our house like we have never seen in our 11 years here. They kept me from being able to do yard work and my family from just spending time on our patio so I called Capital. The scheduler who took my call was fantastic in thoroughly answering all my questions and scheduling a technician to come within two business days.  
Matt, our technician, was excellent and professional as well. He gave us a call ahead as requested and arrived promptly.  He was very understanding regarding our concerns of getting any pesticide in our pond and areas where we feed wildlife.  He tried to allay our concerns by explaining the pesticide's chemical composition. He even helped my husband secure a tarp around our waterfalls so our frog wouldn't be harmed before carefully completing the application around my house.  
The next day, I found more dead Wolf spiders than I thought possible. Huge relief! Thank you Capital City Exterminating Company and Matt for doing such a great job for us! A+ plus experience from beginning to end!

They built their nest in the ground so I needed someone to come and get rid of them. They were done in no time. They were very accommodating and arrived on time. I was able to make an appointment within a day and I was very pleased with the outcome. The men were respectful and nice to talk to, and they even explained everything to me. I couldn't have asked for anybody else to do a better job.

I have always used capital city. Eddie continues the tradition of amazing service this company provides. He is the nicest professional you will ever meet. Prompt, polite, and fast. I will use the company again!

Ants are all gone.

Ron assured me they were not termites but ants, and that an application of ant bait would take care of it.
He also offered me a lower cost option of simply purchasing the bait from him and applying it myself per his instructions, which I did. Ants gone!

We were concerned that an animal had gotten into our attic through some damage to our roof.  The technician talked me through it and we concluded that if an animal had been in the attic, it was no longer there.
Expressed concern about mice in basement.  Technician provided caulking/putty to two areas on ourside of house where mice might be entering.  Installed system for the next year that will kill mice in their nest, similar to termite systems.  Explained system to me.
Very willing to talk through issues we were having with animals.  I've had several insect and animal issues taken care of by this company, and have always been satisfied with their service and expertise.

Matt was the technician that was dispatched.  He arrived a few days later within the one hour window they provided and was very neat, knowledgable, and professional. He took his time talking to my wife and I about what we were seeing and then a few different treatment options.  He explained how and why ants generally end up in homes and was reassuming that it was not uncommon, expecially this time of year.  We were concerned about the toxic nature of the products and he put our minds to ease explaining that they are specific for insects and would not harm pets or kids.  We ended up signing up for their Gold treatment plan, rather than a one time treatment to prevent any future issues.  So far, no more ants (crossing or fingers).  We were both impressed and would recommend them to others.

Following the holidays, we found bed bugs in a couch in our living room. Based on the fact that we travel and there were many people in the house, they could have come from anywhere. This led us to read just about every article online about bedbugs (thanks to the cooperative extension services of many states for posting so much information) and feverishly searched for someone to treat the house ASAP. We removed items from the house and contacted Capital City; there were very few posts on Angies List about successful treatments for bedbugs. Capital City had a long list of recommended actions to take in advance of their arrival. We took two days to prepare the entire house and were happy they were able to come within two days. They treated the house and looked for evidence. We had to be out of the house during this time due to the chemicals they use. Fortunately, there was little evidence of infestation. Capital City returned for a second treatment. We purchased a device to heat items, such as luggage, when we return from trips from now on. The service we received, timeliness of the treatments, and cost were excellent. We highly recommend this company.
