"Ron Lane cleaned and inspected my chimney. I thought I was going to need a new cap for the chimney but Ron advised that it was in good shape and all it needed was some rust removed and painted. He did recommend I replace the back part of my insert due to a large crack, which I did. I appreciated his honesty regarding what I thought I needed and what I actually needed. I need new handles for the glass doors in front of the fireplace itself which I haven’t done yet. Ron measured the center to center holes for the screws and I discovered I was searching for the wrong size. Jim handled the ordering of the custom window, and within a week I had an appointment for installation. The old window was removed, trim was repaired, and the new window was installed/sealed/caulked and now I have absolutely no leaks and a beautiful new window.
