The Pringle family has been helping people breathe easier since 1949. Now in our families 5th generation things have never been brighter. We have been manufacturing air duct cleaning equipment for 69 years and cleaning duct work here in Northwest Ohio for over 49 years. Check out our manufacturing website www.pringlecompany.com if you want to learn more about the equipment we manufacture. Our firm belief in providing quality workmanship at a good price is something you can have faith in. Make sure you check out the cleaning process page of our website www.pringlemegavac.com to learn more about our process. At the bottom of that page you will find videos that show the down and dirty of how our process works. Other companies show their equipment cleaning clean duct work or just show before and after pictures. There is no better equipment on the market to clean duct work with than the truck mounted equipment that we use. Combine that equipment with our years of experience and you have a winning combination that is unequaled. As I always say Once you see what we do and how we do it you will quickly understand why hiring us was the right decision. DBA- W R Pringle Limited

"Very professional outfit. Top notch equipment. They made time for me on a short notice."

Extremely detail oriented, often doing more than is described in the estimate. I buy materials in smaller quantities as needed so not to over buy and waiste customers money. Estimates are free and extra charges are discussed with customer first before additional work is performed per customer approval. Owner and any crew are very respectful of customer and neighbors. I generally work within a 40 mile radius but can work outside of that area depending on the size of the job.

Moss grows in dark areas of roofs, including in corners and gutters. If left alone, it can grow under roofing and cause permanent damage. Here’s how to remove moss from metal roofs

  • Soak the moss to soften it

  • Scrub it away with a soft-bristled brush, or pick it off with your hands (be sure to wear gloves)

  • Use a moss remover that’s compatible with metal roofing, following the manufacturer’s directions

  • Remove dead moss and rinse the roof thoroughly

  • Prevent future moss growth by trimming branches, cleaning gutters, and attaching zinc strips to moss-prone areas

You can rinse your solar panels in some cases. For example, periodically rinsing your solar panels can remove light debris if you live in an agricultural or dusty area. Light dust and dirt won’t affect efficiency much, but they can build up and mix with other debris like animal droppings, leaves, and small sticks.

In most cases, it’s a good idea to leave the icicles on your roof and wait for the warmer weather to melt them away naturally. You should only remove icicles if you believe they’re heavy enough to cause damage to your home or anyone who enters it.

To prep for metal roof painting, have a roof inspection conducted to determine the condition. Complete any repairs required before you paint. Remove the old paint on your metal roof, if any, remove rust and mold with a wire brush, and power wash the surface. Once the roof is clean and dry, start with a primer get painting.

If you’re painting your home or monitoring a job as it’s being completed, squash the issue ASAP if you notice paint is getting onto the roof. Keeping it clean is one of the keys to extending your roof’s life.

Removing latex paint before it dries is much easier and lowers the risk of damaging your shingles (more on that below). Simply spray the spot with a hose for one to two minutes to clear away the drying paint. In general, this is a good way to remove ugly stains from your roof without using chemicals.
