"We had Hardi-plank siding on our home that was installed incorrectly, so after a few years it all started falling off. They came out - pointed out the problem with the previous installation and pointed out a problem with the original framing of the house that was going to cause great difficulty with them installing the siding correctly. A couple of the guys that were doing the actual work came up with the idea to purchase and apply plywood boards all around the house and then apply the Hardiplank to that. It saved us the expense and bother of reframing our house and made it more energy efficient.   They came back this spring and painted the house and it looks great.
