"David Underhill and his crew were great to work with from the start. We began by hiring Gayle Fraser to design our backyard project and ODB implemented that design. Bid was not the lowest I received out of four but was close. We went with ODB because of their reputation/reviews and the engagement we had with them as we reviewed our options. They didn’t disappoint. There were a few design items we adapted during construction which improved the end product but didn’t lead to cost surprises. David expertly managed the various subcontractors (his crew - Manuel was awesome, electric, plumbing for gas line, stone masons). The only thing I’d advise prospective clients is that ODB is in high demand and they will probably have to wait some months before the project begins because other clients are ahead of them when they sign the contract. For us, it was better to go with the best option for quality of work rather than who could get it done sooner."

Drew, the owner, is incredibly skilled at his craft and was simply fascinating to watch as he measured, demolished and ultimately replaced with great skill a wall we asked him to remove and replace with glass doors. He was efficient in his work, and patient with us in explaining what he was doing and what he needed from us at every step of the way. We found him to be very personable with a great sense of humor. Chris and Nathan really know what they are doing. They are very professional, nice and so easy to work with. They gave us lots of ideas we were not even thinking about. The end result is gorgeous! We are so happy with their work. Simeon does fantastic tile work. Price was right and work was above and beyond. The painter they hired for our home was fantastic - we really liked Paul. "There is so many amazing things to say about Tristate Contractors! We had a very large renovation we were interested in doing, but didn't quite know how it would work with our current structure. We had a design and architect team that recommended Tristate Contractors and it was the best choice we could have made. Our entire first floor was renovated from top to bottom, including a complete kitchen demo, tearing walls down, new flooring, installing cabinetry, installing fireplace stone, insulation, drywall, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, trimwork, new doors installation, tilework in the kitchen and powder room, a stairway redo and the list goes on.
