"My experience with Ralph was poor due to his lack of communication regarding increasing project costs until it was too late to adjust the scope. When he refused to discuss or take any responsibility for the significant overage, I withheld the final payment (~2% of project cost) at which point he placed a lien on my home. When I attempted to contact him to discuss, he refused to return calls, emails, and texts. I did not expect everything about the project to go smoothly. However, I did expect to work through a discrepancy in a professional manner. That was not the case. There are many options for custom builders...I wish I would have chosen any other one."
