"Customer service was excellent. John and Joel were very helpful and knowledgeable. New exterior siding and trim covered. Louis’ crew was professional and knowledgeable. During final walk around found a defective vinyl siding piece and nails showing. They fixed the issue promptly. Clean up complete that day including dumpster and excess material. I recommend their service."

"From the initial contact to the finished product, Creekside Coverings was absolutely incredible to do business with. Shawn responded quickly to our inquiry about building a gazebo with a bar and set up an appointment that was convenient for us. When he came to the house, he was super professional but, more importantly, he was very personable and easy to talk with. He let us tell him what our vision was, and he helped guide us where we needed a little help. I immediately felt at ease with him and knew that I wanted this guy to do our work. There wasn’t a lot of info or reviews out there on him, but I felt like I could trust him and appreciated how well he treated us. To be honest, I didn’t even have anyone else come out and give me a quote after Shawn was at our house and I never do that! He told me he would get the quote to me later that night or at the latest the next day and he delivered on that promise. In fact, he delivered on EVERY promise! He was also on time…EVERY TIME and he communicated everything we needed to know at every step of the process. Shawn told us when he would start the project and how it would go and gave us a very specific finish time which he nailed! We have had several contractors do projects for us and every single time it was a nightmare for multiple reasons. With Creekside Coverings we had ZERO issues and enjoyed having Shawn at our home! It was a breath of fresh air for us! Shawn was super organized, worked clean, and gave so much attention to the detail of our project. As he was working on the gazebo and making our vision come to life, he asked us a few questions about changes to a wall we wanted included and the height of the bar. He never pressured us but wanted us to see things from a different view and I am so glad that he did that because what we thought we wanted was nowhere near as beautiful and spot on as what he suggested! He was right about making the wall only a half wall so we didn’t lose our beautiful view and feel so closed in and he was right about increasing the height of the bar. It was perfect! We gave him a vision and trusted him to make it all come together and he delivered a finished product that was even better than we had dreamed of. Our new gazebo has become our happy place and the place where we spend time with our friends. We’re filling our new space with a ton of new memories and we couldn’t be more thankful and impressed with how it all turned out! Shawn is proud of his work and it is obvious how important it is to him that he makes his customer’s visions and dreams come true. The craftmanship and artistry of his work is beautiful. His care and concern for his customers is the best part. If you want someone that puts his heart into his work and truly cares about your project, Shawn and Creekside Coverings is who you want to hire! I would hire them a thousand more times and intend to use them for a few more projects around the house. Thank you Shawn and Creekside Coverings for getting us covered!"

"Chuck and Zach were great. Iâ m so please with their work. They replaced top of deck railing with composite, sealed and painted everything and built new step railing to conform with Dublin City code. I was quoted on Friday, work started on Monday and finished up on Tuesday. Canâ t beat that fast turnaround. I feel that the price was very fair. Would highly recommend them. It was a pleasant experience. Two great guys."

Patio Covers questions, answered by experts

Clean regularly with mild soap and water, and retract during severe weather to prevent damage.

Fabric awnings provide shade, reduce energy costs, and enhance outdoor aesthetics.

Awnings offer a variety of materials to choose from, each of which has its own benefits. Cotton is a lower-cost option that’s also more eco-friendly because it’s made from natural materials, while acrylic-coated polyester and vinyl offer better durability against harsh weather. Fiberglass and metal are also resilient to weather, although metal can be vulnerable to corrosion without protective sealant. Ultimately, you’ll need to consider your climate and your budget in deciding the best material for your awning.

The longest-lasting awning materials include vinyl, polycarbonate, and polyester for their durability and cleanability. Other materials like canvas and metal can last a long time, but may wear out faster. The key to getting the longest life from your awning material is to maintain it properly by cleaning yearly, keeping debris from gathering on it, and protecting it during stormy weather or high winds by retracting it or moving it to a protected area.

Hurricane fabric is a temporary form of hurricane protection that offers an alternative to boarding up windows or installing traditional storm panels. Unlike hurricane screens, which are permanently attached to your home, hurricane fabric is installed over your windows and other openings before a storm.

In terms of effectiveness, hurricane fabric is tested and proven to protect homes from Category 5 hurricanes, which can have winds over 157 miles per hour. When installed properly, it is designed to block the majority of wind and rain and protect against water, debris, and projectile damage.

While the fabric is exceptionally durable, windows can still break if hit directly by flying debris at high velocity. However, it is a good protective measure against an impending storm. For comparison, hurricane fabric is more protective and durable than hurricane window film. While boarding up windows is easier than installing the fabric, it is more labor-intensive and requires storing heavy plywood.

To further increase the chances of your windows surviving a hurricane, you can take additional steps like securing outdoor items, elevating HVAC units, and fortifying your home's foundation.
