"Didn't finish the job and didn't clean-up the site. Did installl the patio, walkway, and most of the retaining walls, but omitted some instructions. Left cut pavers where they fell and did not remove from the site. My husband spent his last two weekends finishing the job and cleaning up."

"We built a new house and the yard was in poor condition due to the clearing that was done. Stars & Stripes contoured the yard, brought in topsoil for an almost acre and seeded it. They also moved stone and used it in some artistic landscaping and bedding. The yard looks great despite the dry hot summer. Eric followed up several times during the summer and came back in the fall to add topsoil in a few places and reseed. He went beyond what was expected. I would highly recommend Eric and Stars & Stripes."

"Jason and his crew came out and did a fantastic job leveling my yard, installing the french drains, and installing the new paver patio around my deck. He then proceeded to reseed my yard as we had a large dirt pile from when we removed a tree last fall. At first we were having some issues getting the grass to grow, but after Jason came back out about a month and a half later, the grass seemed to grow throughout most of the yard. Jason has been professional throughout the entire process. We had some issues with communication at first, but it seems that he has addressed this issue within his office as I have gotten quick responses from his administration since he has made his changes. I've already chosen to use him again for another job in my house, and I would use him again if something came up."

Fountains questions, answered by experts

Most home misters use several cups of water in a couple of minutes, or around a gallon per hour of use. That varies greatly depending on the size of the system and the power of the pump. If you are using professional services, you should ask about water use for your planned system when you’re getting an estimate. If you are using a water tank, make sure it’s filled before operation.

Deep clean your koi pond at least once a year to keep your fish healthy and your pond in good shape. Water testing, debris removal, and partial water changes should be performed weekly. Seasonal professional service will ensure everything is clean and functioning properly.

One of the most important parts of building a pond is digging the right depth. Your pond needs to be at least one to two feet deep. The specifics of the depth will depend on factors such as the placement of the pond and whether you plan on having fish. If you have fish in your pond, it will need to be at least two feet deep.

Placing your water feature in direct sun can speed up evaporation, leading to pump damage and algae growth. Shade or partial shade serves as the ideal location for most water features—just watch out for tree and plant debris that may fall in and clog the pump.

Whether a natural pool is worth it depends on several factors because they cost more than traditional pools. Many people opt for natural pools because they enjoy swimming in natural bodies of water such as lakes. Also, if you're environmentally conscious, a natural pool is going to be a much more attractive option than a traditional pool.

Moreover, for people with chemical sensitivities, a natural pool is a great solution since the water doesn’t contain chlorine.
