We recycle any cardboard, electronics, and any other materials that can be decomposed in an eco - friendly way. Clean items, such as furniture, appliances, and clothing (gently used) are donated when possible. We are trying to reduce waste as much as we can from landfills!

"They did a great job in all areas.  Everyone was friendly and considerate, worked hard to complete the projects on schedule, and took pride in the quality of work.  When a floor tile eventually came loose in a high traffic area, they came back and reinstalled it at no charge.  We felt like the work was very good quality and they stand behind it.  We will definitely use them again.

From the minute the phone was answered at Handyman Matters, it was apparent that this company is very professional.  I had called because of the Angie List "Deal" of 4 hours of labor for $220.  When I explained what needed to be done, I was quoted $65.00 per hour and a $30.00 trip charge.  When I told the young lady that I had a "Deal" on Angie's List, she knew nothing about it but said that she would honor the price.   Inititally we thougth that 4 hours would cover the work to be done.   On June 26, 2012 I set the appointment for July 5, 2012.   Within 15 minutes of making the appointment I received a telephone call from their office apologizing but the time would not be sufficient to do the work (removal of existing ceiling fan, putting the new one together and installing it would take 2 hours per fan).   I appreciated that she had contacted the person who was coming out to my house just to make sure she had told me the right amount of time that would be required.  
Dave arrived PROMPTLY at 9 am, and began working immediately.  It took 2 hours per fan .  He covered the flooring to be sure nothing was dropped, and packed up the old fans very nicely and would have removed them -- but we told him we would take care of that.   He was very knowledgeable and very consciencious.  It took 6.5 hours to remove, put together, and install the 4 new fans.
