Keith Shackleford responded quickly to a request for quote, coming out within a few days of our call. His quote was very reasonable, and he was able to start the work on the day we requested. All work was done in one week (even with time out for rain), and Keith came back to check on the results a week later. He said the deck needed another coat and there were a few places that needed touch-up. He came out while we were on vacation to do the 2nd coat on the deck (he even moved all the furniture off the deck, then replaced afterward) and touch ups. Keith and his painter Ryan worked quickly and professionally, and cleaned up every day after they finished. The house, deck and shed look great! We are very pleased with the work they did.

The job went very well. They completed my kitchen walls and ceiling in 4 hours and the kitchen looks beautiful.

Keith and team have done multiple jobs for me over the years and this is by far the largest I have had them do. As always he delivered over and above. He walked through the condo with me and we decided on what needed painted and what could use just a touch up or what was perfectly fine. Keith never made me feel like he was just trying to do the work just to do it. Would highly recommend!

They are awesome. With price, I have not had any other experience. We had a little problem with the punctuality but they had communication and gave me a little discount. I have already recommended them to a family member.

Let them know I was interested in the deal on Angie's list three rooms 429.00. Received est.... 2 coats ceiling bedroom halls utility rm 2 coats wall paint all walls Pick out colors.. with Keith..sent me Est 725.00 Approx 4 weeks later .. Called set up date for 20th march And called try to Cancel ... This is on Sunday 19 march I felt concerns they lost paper work With paint colors.... also was going Threw angies... Sharon says. Don't worry we have act with them... And paint colors... Keith can get paint And Figurer out colors that I pick If he gets wrong .. no problem... Now let me get this in ... when I first Called Ks ... I let them know .. I had New carpeting and I was getting Ready to put my home up for sale.. I also asked if painters smoked!!! Oh know .... per Sharon we don't allow! And when Keith came out to the house. I mention that I did not want painters who smoked... Keith .... no in fact. He couldn't Stand to be around it!!!!! We'll paint color for bedroom he picked wrong utility room wrong He goes to paint store 2 times Drop cloths that they bring into house Are filthy .....one painter comments We won't get paid again... time Getting paint... older man in bedroom Painting... but stoped Younger guy I don't know what he was doing Keith taking apart washer and utility Sink...... Start stop ... front door wide open Keith And older man constantly going outside smoking.....my garage door opened Which. Leads to door utility room Open .... I find out young guy can't get on a ladder he just had surgery.... The reason the older man is there Keith's truck not working needed him To drive...... Keith and older guy Would start something than leave it do something else.. and go outside smoke!!!! Here they didn't paint ceilings ... I have paint on bedroom furniture... Utility room looked like a. Bomb Hit it coral red everywhere!! On wood Work floors I mean every were on ceilings.... Like 3 10 year olds with attention deficit problems ... Hook up my washer and had steel water pumps all twisted and They were twisted ... didn't notice my Sink wasn't hook up and legs not on!! He said you can do laundry.... Well after they left. I had a floodpaint tuning all over floor register for water!! I was up all nite trying clean the mess !! Keith was coming back in morning Told him and showed him water ... He mess with it said it was fixed.... Leaves..... I call a friend who is a contracted.. Smitley construction ... I call Sharon she writes back a letter That is like all the other apology letters she has set on Angie's list to customers .... that she was going to Take care of this for me.... Sends Keith out again to meet with My friend... smelled like he had been in a bar all nite smoking drinking ... Admitted to my friend it was his fault Well my friend pointed out all damages Woodwork would have to be replaced Walls sanded... and what about ceilings ... you didn't paint? Need a new wash tub..... Had to get new part washer ... 200.00 With new plumbing that Keith screwed Up.. Green paint on carpet .. garage smokers up and even paint smelled like it..... What Keith thought ... he come And help my friend ... ...my friend Said I don't mind telling you what to do But this is your job to make this right!!! He was going to come back .. but Did not... than phon called text Can't get a hold of them.... Don't offer to give money back No ceilings painted one coat in bedroom. Utility room paint thrown around ..... They did not contact angies list.. to take care of acct to pay them!!!! Something very wrong with KS..... not honest and have had problems... This whole thing has made me sick! We have 75 pictures.. I will post... "

Wonderful. Keith and his crew were on time, performed work as agreed upon, cleaned up after themselves each day before leaving and were fun to have around.

The work went as well as we could ask. The workers were always on time, always cleaned up and did a very good job on both the drywall and the painting. I gave the company an A rating on quality even though a couple small items were not addressed, but 99% of the work was spot on. I would hire them again in an instant and I have already referred them to friends.

Ceiling damage was repaired instead of replaced reducing cost. Work was completed in 2 days including repainting of entire ceiling, not just the repaired area. Keith is a consummate professional- neat, tidy, friendly, and efficient. I am going to have him do some external painting for me next summer.

KS was very prompt and easy to communicate with. Cell phone calls and email updates and billing were very prompt and professional. Without my further direction, Keith went the extra mile in touching up or doing surface preparation as necessary to make the rooms look just right for potential buyers that will come through the house. I needed someone that I could trust and not have to "ride herd on". I felt their charge was more than reasonable because they didn't shortcut doing proper surface preparation and cleaning before applying the finish coats. Labor and material was provided by KS. They used high quality Sherwin Williams paint. One of the best companies that I have contracted.

I hired Keith to paint the walls in 350 sq ft living room, 270 sq ft kitchen, 200 sq ft dining room with intricate wall trim, a 120 sq ft foyer, a small laundry room and two hallways. The price did not include trim or ceilings. I had actually hired another painter who was incredibly slow and spent most of his time flappin his gums rather than painting. I finally fired the other painter after I found that his primer he used was not adhereing to the oil based paint on the walls in any of the rooms. I called the K S Painting office and Keith came out to give me an estimate the next day. He was able to start within 2 days on a Saturday. His crew was coming and going but he had 3 painters there at any given time, including himself. The job took 4.5 days to complete but they also had to scrape and sand the primer off of all of the walls that the other painter had messed up. they applied a coat of primer and two coats of paint to every room. The result looks amazing and the crew was very good as well as entertaining. In order to meet my timetable they worked early in the morning and late in the evening, they even worked on Sunday. Overall it was a very good job and they even painted my baseboards in one room for free because Keith said he didn't feel right leaving them in the condition he found them even though it wasn't part of the estimate. Keith does not cut corners. Would definitely hire again

Workers showed up on time and began to prep for painting. Finished later in the day with 2 coats of paint and garage looking brand new! Was very pleased with the workmanship and professionalism of the 3 workers. Would definitely hire them again and will recommend them to family and friends.

They cleaned up well and everything looks great.

They were excellent. They did a lot of extra little work and did very good surface preparation before painting and did not charge me any extra for it. They did all that was necessary to get a good job done. They are currently doing a second phase of the work. I already have started to use them again.

We are very satisfied with the work. It was done well and on time. We also appreciated Keith changing the burned out bulbs to our sensor lights that were too high to reach without a tall ladder. This was not part of our agreement, but offered as a professional courtesy.

It was fine. I didn't pay more.
