Roof cleaners in Cincinnati
In business since 2006, we offer gutter cleaning, gutter repair & installation, roofing, and gutter guards. 13 years later, we have over 10,000 regular customers and continue to develop services with our partners to provide comprehensive service for your home. We are fully insured with general liability and workman's comp. We run from 8-18 employees depending on the season.
"I purchased gutters from Cincy gutter bags two years ago. I should have known what to expect when they offered an insane gutter insurance. (why do I need to insure my gutters?) After install they claim gutters are only guaranteed to work if you purchase continued cleaning services (a few hundred dollars a year minimum). The gutters they installed are already falling off the fascia board, allowing leaks behind the gutters and under the shingles. I?ve had to hire a carpenter to correct install mistakes. two years after install. two years. Their sales team is also poor at determining proper downspouts. They attached a 6? downspout to a 4? sewer drain. It overflows every time it rains, leaving water around the foundation. Which is why we install the gutters to begin with?"

Gutterglove is rated THE #1 gutter protection system by Consumer Reports with the highest score of 89 of all systems tested. Gutterglove uses a micromesh stainless steel screen on top of a solid aluminum frame to keep all the leaves, pine needles, seed pods, birds and debris from getting into your gutters. Gutterglove is MADE IN AMERICA and is backed by a 25 year no-clog warranty. There is no open lip (like the "Reverse Curve" or "Surface Tension" system designs) that allows small leaves, helicopters, needles or birds access to the inside of a Gutterglove protected gutter. The Gutterglove frame is made of solid aluminum, not plastic, so it does not flex or warp. Systems made of mesh and plastic can flex allowing their screen to peel out. Gutterglove is also installed on a slant instead of flat in your gutters so debris will naturally move to the front edge of the gutter and fall off with the rain/wind. Systems that lay flat tend to collect debris under the shingles. We also offer THE ICE BREAKER SYSTEM. A heated gutter protection system that not only keeps your gutters clean but melts snow and ice at the gutterline to keep icicles and ice dams from forming. Gutterglove is normally installed on your existing gutters. We do not have to replace them! However, if you want new or larger gutters we can do that work for you as well.

FAQs for roof cleaning projects in Cincinnati, OH
Even though you don’t look at your roof often, there are some telltale signs that you should have your roof professionally cleaned. It’s best to hire a professional roof cleaner as soon as you notice signs of wear and tear to preserve the essential feature’s longevity. Some indicators to look out for include:
Dirt and grime buildup
Moss or black algae growth
Dirt buildup under shingles
Shifting roof shingles
Plant growth
On average, cleaning a roof will take between two to five hours. This timeline depends on the size and slope of your roof and the severity of any stains. Cleaning roof stains can take additional time, especially if there are signs of moss or algae.
In addition, the age of your roof makes an enormous difference in the time it takes to clean it, as older roofs need more gentle care. If you have significant landscaping in your yard by your house, your professional roof cleaner will need additional time to protect it from cleaning chemicals.
The cost of roof cleaning is $455 for the average homeowner. However, this cost can range from $150 to $1,000, depending on the size, pitch, and material of the roof, as well as the cleaning method used.
Since roof cleaning costs between $0.20 and $0.60 per square foot, it’s fair to say that the larger your roof, the more you pay for cleaning services. Additionally, if you have a steep roof, you can expect to pay an additional $0.15 per square foot due to the complex nature of the job and additional safety equipment needed.
A professional roof cleaning lasts about a year on average, so it’s best to do it annually. This schedule helps catch any roof problems before they become extensive and helps prevent mold, moss, and algae from forming. If you live near the coast, annual roof cleaning will help prevent salt buildup on your roof. You can add professional roof cleaning to your yearly home maintenance checklist to ensure you never miss a year.
It is not advisable to DIY a roof cleaning job. Cleaning your roof yourself could lead to hazardous falls, scrapes, and even burns, making this a dangerous project. Additionally, using the wrong cleaning solution or cleaning method on your roof could risk damaging it. While some markets offer a DIY roof cleaning kit, these products often speed up the deterioration of your roof.
To ensure that you and your roof are protected, it’s best to leave roof cleaning to a professional with the right chemicals, tools, and equipment to complete the job safely.
