"My experience was exactly the same as the previous review dated 11/28/17. I purchased an offer for $108 for 6 hours of cleaning from Angie's List. I received no contact from the company so I e-mailed them, and received a reply saying they "no longer worked" with Angie's List and that I could pay them directly or contact Angie's List for a refund. I contacted Angie's List to inquire about the company and they said they asked General Home Services to get back to me to schedule the cleaning. However, I did not receive any further contact from the company. When I contacted Angie's List again, they said "I see the company is no longer advertising with us." And yet, as of today (12/3/17), they are still offering the deal of $108 for 6 hours of house cleaning. This has been very frustrating and a huge waste of time for me. I too am not sure if the problem lies with Angie's List or the company, or both. In that respect, my rating of 'C' for the company needs some qualification."

"Mr. Moyer is truly a professional and did such a great job repairing the damage.    During the process, I had one area that required drywall over an area that was to cover the pipes coming from the upstairs sink.    He noticed a drop of water on the drywall and I had to have plumber come out to repair the water leak under the sink.    It was such a subtle leak, but definitely needed repair prior to completing the job which could have caused more damage down the road if not detected.    He did an excellent clean up job as well once he completed the work."

"Smooth and easy process. No guessing on the estimate. I was shown the square footage for each and the price for that particular room using a computer program. My price, including paint, was $1200 less than my other estimate which was just a guess. The painting crew was great. No mess! Highly recommended."

"Mike and his team were amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure my house looked well put together and SO much more beautiful than it was before they began. We hired them for two jobs and each job was very well done. Both jobs required removal of wallpaper and painting. "First of all, I want to say that Jim the owner did not do the work. It was wood refinishing, not painting. Jim has a different person do the wood related work. When I met with Jim for the estimate he was pleasant and professional, the wood guy however, was late. Despite having an estimate that was twice as high as the other estimate I had gotten, I hired them (I could not get a certificate of insurance from the other guy). He was supposed to start work on a Saturday. I knew that they needed to match the stain of my existing woodwork and would need time to do this, so I offered a piece of my woodwork to them several days ahead of time. They did not take me up on my offer. On Saturday, he took the wood to the paint store but they did not match it until late that afternoon. Thus, no work was done on Saturday. He acted surprised that it took so long to match the stain (so I could anticipate this but the professional could not?!). On Sunday he showed up late (he called first, but he should have known that the paint store did not open until 10) however he had forgotten some of his materials and had to wait for someone to bring them. On Monday he showed up late (again, he called to let us know). The work he did looks fine except that he forgot to refinish a section of one step. After I contacted him he said he would come back but did not. A week later I still had not heard from him or Jim so I did it myself. While doing this I also noticed that he did not tape off the white railings on my stairs so that there is a bit of stain on the white on many of them ( I seem to recall him telling me at the estimate that he would tape them). Not a huge deal but I kind of expected more attention to detail. Overall, I am happy with how my stairs look and he was a very nice person. His tardiness did not add any days to the project but was annoying."

"Cindy recently completed a project involving my half-bath which required some dry-wall patching and getting the walls in paint ready shape before she could paint. She charged a fair price and was willing to work with my schedule. She was concerned enough about the mirror she hung in the bathroom to return and make it more secure. What once was a disaster is now a fresh new looking bathroom."

"I contacted Fredrick's Painting to have my master bedroom painted. Scotty (owner) was very responsive and was out the next day to give an estimate for labor and materials. The quote was very reasonable and I was able to make my appointment for the next week. Fredrick's Painting showed up the next week on time and ready to work. I was very pleased with the results very clean lines on the ceiling and around the trim, they even went the extra mile and fixed nail pops and any defects in the drywall. After the room was finished everything was cleaned up and Scotty helped me get the furniture back into place. Fredrick's Painting is a very professional company that I would recommend to anyone."

"I initially purchased a "Big Deal" for painting a few small exterior areas. Later that summer, following a city home inspection, I hired Kiss Coatings to paint the remainder of the house Kiss Coatings did a thorough job and were respectful when it came to communicating and cleaning up. However, they promised to return the following summer to do any necessary touch-up painting, which they did not do. I sent repeated messages to ask them to follow through on a couple of areas but I never received a response."
