They told her that there were gaps between her tiles and that the only solution was to install a steel liner which she was quoted 7000 for. This was suspicious to me as it did not make sense to have a liner installed if the tiles themselves were still in good condition. Thankfully I decided to get another opinion. I ended up calling Riaz chimney and the tech told me that all my mother needed was something called heatshield to be applied between the gaps and it would be a fraction of the cost. They came out that week and were amazing! Not only did they fix my mothers chimney but they saved her from being scammed out of THOUSANDS of dollars. I explained to him that my cellar has floode due the problems and was anxious to get the repairs done. Justin quoted a price that was fair and much lower then any other estimates.
