"Thank you so much for your kind words. I always like to help out people the best I can, even if I can't do the work I try to give them helpful information it doesn't matter that I might not get the work. I try and be as honest as I can if I can't do the work maybe I can refer you to someone else that may be able to help. Thanks Gary."
"Thank you very much for your kind words on the work we performed for you on taking care of your Fireplace . Gary Crispin."
"Responding from customers complaining. I talked to customer for 20 minutes the day before appointment. She told me her son referred me to her. I didn't hide or mislead her in any way. She had a hard time in understanding about the process of Service of her Fireplace and Chimney. Pete was there for 2 Hours. She asked him to look at the Furnace not the Chimney, Peter told her we don't do that call a HVAC Business that does that type of Service. After inspection Peter showed her the Creosote buildup from the camera. Creosote can be very dangerous and hard to remove, normally needing a special treatment with creosote removal powder and coming back out to clean again. Sometimes creosote buildup can be so bad it can't be removed and may need a metal liner dropped down to make it safer. We cannot predict if there is going to be a creosote problem or not without using a camera. She neglected on maintaining her Fireplace and flue. Chimney should be cleaned and inspected yearly. Peter told customer to call the Fire Department for information about her problems with the creosote buildup. She apparently did not do that because they would have confirmed what we were telling her. She is making it sound as though I am not honest in the way I perform my Business, in which that really hurts me and is totally not true. I have no way of knowing if there is going to be a problem with creosote or repairs until we perform an inspection. She didn't like the result of the inspection so she decided to bounce the check she paid me with. I tried talking to her on the phone she would not let me talk, she did the same thing to Peter. If she would just call the Fire Department to confirm what we were telling her was true all of this would be resolved, but she didn't like anything we had to say. She is being very difficult to talk to so we did everything we could. Thanks Gary."
"I'm sorry I didn't respond to a request on reattach damper plate in Fireplace. I receive around 40 Calls, texting, emails every day because it is the most busy time of the year. I try to get back to as many calls I can but you can't always. I wish I wasn't getting graded on work that I haven't even performed so I do think that this grade on me and my Business is unfair. All I can do is do the best possible job I can when I am hired to perform the work. Thanks [Member Name Removed] Crispin Professional chimney."
"I'm responding to second review. I don't charge for a Chimney repair estimate it's in my Advertising and if you call and ask me on the phone I will tell you that there is no charge for me to come out and look at your outside chimney I think that should be a free for that service. In 25 years in Business I never once charged a customer for that Service. Customer paid only for the inspection with a camera inside the Fireplace flue. After she called at 5:30 am. I told customer I would be out that day so I was surprised that she wrote the review and seeing that it is a free Service I didn't feel that going out to her property was fair to me so I didn't go and give a free inspection."
"Customer paid$160.00 for a Fireplace cleaning and inspection and we did a thorough cleaning and inspection. We felt it was not safe to climb up the ladder in the rain. Customer did not pay for outside inspection because that is a free service, I never charge to inspect outside chimney. I did get sick and had an infection cellulitis and was in Marymount Hospital for 5 Days. Customer called me a few days ago at 5:30am. I answered and said I would get out there the next day I thought everything was fine until she decided to wright this review. We did everything she paid for unfortunately I had some health problems for a couple weeks. Sorry I always try to do my best. Gary Crispin."
"Thank you so much for your kind words on the review on cleaning of your Fireplace Chimney. Gary Crispin Professional Chimney Service."
"I would always recommend a Plumber to work on anything that deals with Gas. I do not have the experience of working with Gas piping . This is the time of the year that I receive 25 to 35 call's and texts per Day. There are times when you just overlook of responding back. My apologies Gary Crispin."
"I got a call from Mr. [Member Name Removed] after he had his Fireplace cleaned. He said everything went well but Peter had missed cleaning smoke shelf. I said I would come back out within a few days to finish the cleaning. I came back when he said he was available I apologized and he said it's fine stuff happens. Everything was fine and thanked me for coming back out."
"Thank you so much for your kind words. I've been in Business for 23 years and Peter and I try to do the best work we possibly can. Being honest and helping people is how I run my Business and live my life. Thanks Gary Crispin, Professional Chimney."
"Sorry I wasn't able to get back to the customers call within 2 Days. I was unfortunately attending a Family Funeral in Pennsylvania. After I got his information I then passed to my worker Peter, he's been with me for 20 years. Not sure where the mix up happened on Peter not getting back to the customer. I stayed out in Pennsylvania for a while to stay with my Relatives. I never had to worry about the Warranty, I make sure that the repair on the chimneys are done right the first time. Sorry for any inconvenience. Gary Crispin."
