"Bob was very knowledgeable about the products and answered all my questions without no runaround and was not pushy and was just the nicest guy you'd want to meet. The installers Steve and Terry were very friendly and did an excellent job installing the awnings and the clean was excellent. I would definitely recommend Akron Canton Awning to anyone and their prices were well within our budget seeing we are on Social Security. Thanks Bob, Steve and Terry for a job well done."

"They did a beautiful job. Update as of 09/24/2026 Did not take fence angled like he said. Cut off left jagged edge. Did not give receipt for final project, when I text he said he sent it then turned his messages off."

"Tony was the sales and design consultant. His presentation was superb explaining every detail but most importantly there was no high pressure sale pitch. Tyler was the installer he worked on my project just like he was working on his own house. Joyce is a family owned company that really cares about their customers. If you are planning on a new project don't be skeptical give Joyce a call you won't be sorry! I have a front door and screen installed I have windows check because Patio Doors and Entry Doors want a option"

"One of the owners came out with samples of the windows to show me what options I had.   He was very knowledgable and professional.   The only complaint I have is that they didn't mention when they replace the outdoor window screens that they don't replace with a full screen unless you ask.    So when my windows were done I was surprised to find I only had half screens.   The other thing is that they don't mention that the installers are subcontractors and not employees of the company.   Despite these two things the man was friendly and professional.
The day they came to install the windows was when I found out that the installers were subcontractors and that no one from the company would be there that day.  This has taught me a lesson to specifically ask that questions of anyone that I hire in the future.  They could not answer my questions about the half screens saying that I needed to follow up with the company.   One of the windows size was not ordered correctly so I was told it would have to be ordered and would take a few weeks.  This was after the old window had been taken out.   Most of the windows were installed well.  But a couple of them had knocked off plaster on the inside.   I was told that they wouldn't fix this, that I would have to fix it myself or hire someone to fix it.   So I had these chunks out of the sides of my windows inside the house.  The caulking was very sloppily put on at the last minute.   Later when opening and closing the windows I found that one of them wouldn't close properly.   I called and they said that I would have to push down hard to close until the window wore itself in.
I asked about the screen when I finally talked to the owners again.  He said that I would have had to specify at the time of the initial visit if I wanted full screens or not.    He said to do it now it would be an extra expense since they half screens were already installed.   I would have specified if he would have mentioned that they were only doing half screens at the visit and or on my order paperwork.    The screens fall out of the track every time I move them.
Overall I would say that these issues could have been prevented and were just sloppy work of the contractors and overlooked by the company as long as they were paid.  When I pay someone to replace windows I expect them to be replaced and leave the structure as they found it.   To damage and leave chunks of wall missing and expect the customer to handle it is not professional.  Especially when I am sure that causing chunks when pulling out the old window is very common.
I would never use this company again.

"All service was timely & excellent! Workers showed up when promised & began work immediately...there was no down time! They were polite, organized, hard workers, caring for our property covering landscape and deck with drop cloths & cleaning up everyday. The first scheduled day turned out to be rainy, but the crew leader & his son showed up to get things organized and ready for the next day. As we needed a tear-off, a dumpster on wheels was provided as our drive way is quite new & they did not want a dumpster without wheels to possibly damage our drive--this was arranged ahead of time by their on-line picture review of our property! Impressive! Their knowledge and skill were great & the crew leader was informing us every step of the way - ie-when plywood had to be replaced in one area. They carefully removed & replaced the gutter guards. The workers were aware of appearance and made sure everything was aesthetically pleasing. The job was well done and we are very pleased. Also, Bob Hegedish worked patiently with us to pick out the perfect roof color. Totally recommend this company! Pricing was best of competition!"

"they came out and replaced the dead tree. Looks great and I'm very pleased they did not give me any issues at all about replacing it."

"It went well.  Dave was professional and very nice. I thought the price was reasonable.  It took only 2 days for all the construction to be finished. During the 2 days he made sure everything was cleaned up and that there were no nails on the driveway. The quality of workmanship on both porches is excellent. I would highly recommend him.
