"Pretty good experience if you just install new HVAC. But, if it is full HVAC and duck replacement, you will need to ask during quote. Otherwise, you will have trouble."

"I couldn't be happier with Logan Services. They were professional from the very beginning and the installation of our new HVAC system was completed in one day. We would highly recommend them!"
Logan A/C & Heat Services offered value, competitive pricing, top of the line Trane equipment, nice financing options that other companies did not offer. Dan was my sales rep that offered the above services. Bobby was the installer & was professional & did a great job. Install was scheduled on a Monday after I committed on a Friday; so very quick! Trane 20XV & Trane XC95m.

"I like everything about them. They are personable, the gentlemen who owns the company, Bob, is very polite and careful with anything around the windows they are washing. Anything they have to move to do their job, they make sure to put back. They take great care to clean up after themselves, and respect me and my property. To top everything off, the work they do is always great!

The rates they offer are very friendly and competitive."

"I believe the fellows did a good job of cleaning the hvac ducts. They were very attentive to my concerns. They concentrated on the work and did not waste time. There are a few items that I think are not up to NADCA's recommendations. The blower blades were only cleaned with compressed air and this did not not remove all the compacted dust on the blades. The return air grills were not removed to provide better access to the return ducts. Compressed air was applied through the grill."

"We purchased Angie's list Big Deal in early October, 2011 and after about a week made contact with Greg. He made an appointment to review our needs. We chose to focus on our two main priorities: painting hallway to basement and installation of bathroom exhaust fan. We purchased the fan. The work was completed in November over about a 3 day period. Installation of exhaust fan was difficult as Greg and an assistant were required to crawl through the attic space to reach the fan.
They painted hallway and trim with two coats of paint and made necessary repairs. We were and continue to be happy with the quality of work.

Heating and Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

To diagnose a bad HVAC or AC damper, assess the airflow from your vents. For a manual damper, close it, run your system, and check for airflow. If air is still coming through the vents, the damper is likely faulty and needs repair or replacement. For an automatic damper, turn on your HVAC system and monitor the airflow and room temperature. Signs of a problem include low airflow, a room that won't maintain its set temperature, or a drafty feeling. If you suspect a faulty automatic damper, you may need to hire a professional for repairs.

Yes, but they don’t feel the same as an AC-cooled room. You’ll feel cool, moist air, opposite from an HVAC system that dries the air as it cools. Ventless units also have less tonnage than alternatives like ductless and central air, which means they aren’t as capable of quickly cooling large spaces or circulating cold air.

No, not all HVAC systems have a fresh air intake, but there are many advantages to having one. For example, a fresh air intake can boost the air quality inside your home and help your furnace run more effectively. Plus, it can make your house more energy efficient, possibly saving you money on your utility costs.

HVAC pros recommend that you replace your AC filter every one to three months to maintain optimal indoor air quality and ensure your HVAC system operates efficiently. However, factors such as filter type, household size, and environmental conditions may influence the frequency of replacement. Regular filter changes help prevent debris buildup, maintain airflow, and prolong the life span of your air conditioning unit.

Yesh, heat pumps can easily cool homes when the weather reaches over 100 degrees Fahrenheit, just as powerful air conditioners can. The key is sizing the heat pump correctly for the size of your home and your climate. A local heat  pump professional can help you determine the right size and type for your home.
