"I used KWD Electric 2 times in the recent past and was planning to write a review after the 3rd and final visit to my mother's house. The first to jobs went well, one "simple" (replacing 6 outlets) and one "complex" upgrading the service panel plus a couple other items. Ken was late both times and his responsiveness to my initial contact took a little too long but I overlooked that. The 3rd visit he was to replace all switches and outlets in the kitchen (after the renovation). On July 30th Ken's email stated a quote would follow in a  day or two. It is now August 26th and I am still waiting. Needless to say this is very rude and extremely unprofessional.

Update: Ken did apologize for forgetting and stated he would not take on more than he could schedule.

9-4-2013 Update: Thank you Ken for the offer of a few free hours of labor. I may consider this the next time I need some electrical work done."

I purchased the Angie's List deal for a new sump pump and warranty, they happened to have availability the next day and came exactly at the time they said they would. They were in and out in 45 mins and showed us how to operate the sump pump. We are extremely happy with the work. They took the old sump pump away and cleaned up. Good as new! Excellent company with excellent service. I will be using A Real Plumber again"

"Rather than fix the issue the first 2 calls, more refrigerant was pumped into the system. This cost me $75 for each call plus the cost of the refrigerant. The 3rd time, they fixed a valve and refilled the refrigerant and I am monitoring to see if this really fixed the problem. So I am out $225 for service calls fro the same problem and the cost of the refrigerant. I think they take this approach intentionally."
