"Paul was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He gave us a quote (in short order)that was very close to two others we received. We chose him largely because he had years of experience and many excellent reviews. Throughout the process of repairing our front and side steps into our home and replacing missing stones to our chimney, he and his two “worker bees” (who literally worked from sun up to sun down) made sure we were happy with what they were doing and the end result. They were courteous and professional throughout the process. You couldn’t ask for a better team if you want a job done right! The pics below show our side steps, which were very pitted from years of salt, as well as our front steps, which were starting to crumble. Thank you Paul!"

"Excellent workmanship! Very diligent and worked extra long hours even on the weekend to finish the job on time. We are so pleased with our new deck and would recommend Sean to anyone else who is looking into having a deck installed or replaced."

"James installed concrete steps off the back of our garage over 20 years ago. We were so impressed with his work ethic and excellent job, we just had to hire him again. We needed a large concrete slab for a hot tub. James went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right. He is a very hard worker that will make sure the project is done exactly the way it should be."

"Took 3 visits but was well worth the time, attention and patience to get the job done right. First day was inspection and quote for repairs/materials. Work started that day to patch the cement crown that was cracked and channeling water down one side of the chimney eroding bricks. A bowed metal plate on the chimney to shed water between the two flue caps was flattened and sealed with cement so it did not show from the ground and so flies would stop entering into the house thru one of the flues. Crumbling mortar was replaced between bricks and bricks were waterproofed. The chimney was measured and the cap to cover the entire chimney was ordered. The 2nd visit got rained out. The 3rd visit was a good weather day and the cap was assembled, installed and cemented in place. It is amazing how strong the animal guard around the 4 sides of the chimney is. The crew at all times was friendly, courteous & very competent being careful to do the entire project as if it was their home."

"Excellent people to work with, very easy to talk to but serious about their work. They fully cleaned and installed gutter covers on the entire 2k sqft house in just a few hours, and even handled a few tricky parts where the gutters were installed oddly and had heating wires running by them. Highly recommend them!"

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes. It’s okay to leave a pellet stove on overnight, and these stoves can provide 24 to 48 hours of warmth from one ignition. However, you should practice proper pellet stove maintenance, like cleaning the burn pot before each use, deep cleaning the unit at least once per year, and running the fan when the stove is lit.

Installing a spark arrestor on your home’s chimney is an essential task. It reduces fire risk and ensures your chimney is compliant for insurance and building code purposes. Not having a spark arrestor could invalidate your home insurance or cause snags when it comes to a house sale.

Your pilot light needs to be on whenever you’re using your furnace to heat your home. However, you might decide to turn it off during the summer months, when you don’t need heating. Doing this can save you a little bit of money on utility costs—just make sure you’re fine with relighting your pilot light (or hiring a professional to do it) when fall comes around and you’re ready to get cozy.

Regular inspections ensure no blockages, structural stability, prevention from fire hazards, and maintenance of optimal heat venting, safeguarding household safety.

Yes, there are regulations on using wood stoves, particularly concerning emissions and installation standards. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) sets emission limits for wood stoves to ensure they burn cleaner and more efficiently. Additionally, local building codes may have specific requirements for installation and venting, so it's essential to check with local authorities before installing or upgrading your stove.
