Call a professional hot tub repair specialist, who will know what common issues to look for and have the parts and tools on hand to fix them immediately.

You should drain your hot tub three to four times a year to give it a thorough cleaning. This should take about an hour, but it depends on the size of your tub.

If the filter is more than two to three years old, replace it with a new one and buy a second filter to keep around as a spare.

You should keep your hot tub at a constant soaking temperature of around 100 degrees Fahrenheit when the hot tub is not in use. However, you can lower that by a couple of degrees during the summer, so you don’t feel overheated.
